@@applelandry4233 The video said "Ventura County," not Ventura. The "Bay Area" through Washington State is a HUGE number of miles - this severe damage shown in the video footage did not happen in that entire area.
@@citizenY the term they used was "Ventura County." Most people who have never lived in a given state, don't know which counties contain which cities. A map would have been very helpful. As it was, I had to contact my family - they're very close to this damage, but unharmed, thank God.
Most of the people seen on these videos are tourists. They usually rent the Air BnBs closer to the waves. They came to vacation and enjoy the Christmas and New Years holidays. Rest of us locals are pretty much uphill, cozy.

Once i booked a straight 3 hours flight. Checked in on line. In the middle of the night received sms my flight was cancelled and they found me a new one - 9 hours one stop. And then during it the flights were delayed. So instead of 3 hours trip i spent more than 12. I will always remember that horror. And the funniest thing we were going to fly with my elder son - they found us flights with different connecting flight and from different terminals.

There is irrefutable evidence of this insurrection as TV cameras recorded the speech and instruction he gave to his supporters.

The only gray zone here is that when he said he would be marching down to the capital with the insurrection mob, he instead got in a vehicle and went home. So if he had told the truth, he'd have been right there with the rest of them. And there are some reports that he wanted to go with the mob, but that the secret service declared the event too dangerous and refused to let him go for his own protection. In mind, if the only thing stopping your president from being involved in an insurrection directly was his secret service refusing to let him go, then he's just as guilty as the people who were there. He should be removed from all ballots and deemed ineligible from holding any official power in the US government ever again, barring a vote of Congress to reverse that ruling.

I live ten blocks from Ocean Beach in San Francisco. We're not getting those huge waves you see depicted in the video. It's mostly in Southern California, Santa Cruz, and Pacifica just south of SF. We don't have buildings right up to the ocean water.
