Please people don't go hiking! Don't explore the desert right now. Camp out in the trees, enjoy the cool and some camping food. Try and relax. Tell stories, sing songs. Get to know your family.

Because of the heat, if you think you need to go for a walk, walk your house. As you walk throughout the rooms, look around and pick up what is😢 out of place and put back where they should go. You not only get your exercise, and clean your house, but you stay safe out of the sun.

Rule of thumb, if you're on a hike and your water supply is down to 60% of what you started with it's time to turn around. I hike beaches in Florida all the time. I always bring 5 one liter bottles of ice water in my back pack. When I'm down to three I stop, hydrate then turn around. I also bring food, either a fully charged cell phone AND a fully charged back up cell phone or a 2 way radio depending on where I am. And no I am not talking about beaches with a lot of people around. It's also a good idea to hike in pairs or groups because almost always one is affected by the heat first and the other can see that and direct the hike to turn around. Often if you hike alone and it's hot out your cognitive ability diminishes and you don't always recognized when you are in danger.

Actually, a CPR course is a must in f your baby was in the NICU for a period of time in some hospitals and I think that helps save a lot of kids every single year. It isn’t that big a deal. It does actually work well and is an easy course, very informative and cheaper than receiving back so many children for emergencies that could have been avoided or lessened had the parent know what to do

It was 100° here in south Mississippi today too. I did a 40 mile bike ride and was fine. I did take an 8lb backpack loaded with a mini ice pack, 2 cold water bottles (with electrolytes), a face towel and wore moisture wicking clothing. Plus a light lunch and added a cold coke to get sugar and a packet of energy chews You just have to take precautions...you can't just go out there raw and expect to not get sick

I believe you! Glad he spoke up! Trump has to go! We cant have a president who is wholly focused on 50 or more personal lawsuits & legal battles. Whether right or wrong, he's unfit for job of president! Ron DeSantis is the most qualified candidate. He's got an extensive resume and has the experience! A proven leader & man of integrity.
