..where I live the high petrol prices hasn't stopped those kids in the fart can rigged cars from racing around the city. The other day they blocked a major bridge in the city to do NASCAR styled "burnouts" in the middle as well as a major intersection on the other side of the river. A late evening doesn't go by when I don't hear one or more of them speeding past my place.

Taking medical advice from Ron DeSantis is probably as wise as taking medical advice from someone who doesn't hold a medical degree but thinks that he sounds wise. The more important question is what are the medical qualifications of the people you're taking advice from and how likely is their advice going to benefit or injure your child's health. If you feel comfortable taking advice from a governor over a medical doctor then maybe you're more concerned with politics over the health and well being of your child. If that the case then you have to accept whatever the outcome your child ends up with.

Funny how they won’t show more of the side of parents. Are not getting this child vax Study. Is out in USA. Cardioitis. 7x more likely. Then yr kid actually. Getting covid. AND ending up in. Hospital. No more to talk about. All 4 my kids got Covid Ages 5-17. And. Only. 5 yr old had. Droopy eyes for 2 days. No other symptoms. So why would I push that vax in my child after that experience. … I know. All kids aren’t going have same symptoms. But problem is. Gov wants treat obese 70 yr old. That needs vax Like. 8 yr old. Have to believe that is for a BLEACHER seat (Yankee Stadium bleacher seats are at least U$20 w/o the 🍺 and so in Atlanta). In Atlanta I was in the "old" Turner Field in downtown and they charged U$4.50 for a Coke in the mid-late Aughts (U$0.50 at the machine outside the "Old" World of Coke), imagine today in '22 (and you thought the ones at WDW were expensive).

The easiest way to lower crime is to start giving young children and teenagers something positive to do while working towards their goals. Board kids find trouble far quicker than busy children. Helping build up our youth will help end crime in the long run. Constantly locking up criminals isn't a solution to end crime. As the population keeps rising so will crime unless you give the youth another option.

I stand with Ukraine, but the short attention span of the USA population is a huge problem. I wonder if anyone is still concerned about women and girls in Afghanistan who want to work and go to school. The government did a fair job in helping but they fell short and helping the people established rights especially education in Afghanistan but it comes down to I believe the growing of poppy plants and the under education of Afghanistan most Afghanistan's are a very young population and they didn't know how to establish the right kind of government and infrastructure that is needed

Their economy has collapsed, yet they keep their female population out of the work force despite the potential for growth that these women represent. Utilizing the leverage of the frozen funds from the last elected government accounts might still help extract concessions on rights for girls and women, but ... They do seem to want recognition from the United Nations, so maybe that could provide leverage. Harsh story for sure. But the last time I caught a story on this issue on PBS news hour, the women were still bravely protesting, and all they asked was that the world continued to pay attention, because that was something that kept them a little bit safe. Such a perilous road ahead. And Ukraine...talk about peril ... Overwhelming.....

Yum! I toss out that little "flavor" packet, though. Nothing but sodium. I replace it with 1 tsp. of Better Than Bullion per cup of water. Half the calories, 1/3 the sodium per serving. I chop up 1 carrot, 1-2 stalks of celery and a little onion into the cold water. They cook just the right amount of time before I put in the noodles. Once done I add the bullion.

If the USA is not in a Recession yet, a very high rate of increasing 'Inflation' and Fed. increases in Interest Rates will get the USA there very fast. I caught the bad ones in 1980 and 1982-1985 (Yes, the effects lasted that long), and hope to not go thru that again ever.

Car pool to the super market, where a pick up truck is ready to haul five of or six neighbors groceries home. If the price of gas gets high enough people will do. Why not now ? I don't want a ban on assault rifles, but I do think it should be much harder to get one. Min age of 21+, extensive background checks, and perhaps additional vetting as well such as interviewing references. Also if you've ever made shooting threats you should be banned for life.

Good news folks; inflation is not caused by federal spending. The national debt is never coming to get you, nor is debt-to-GDP ratio a meaningful measure. Shrinking the deficit however is always followed by recession.

It's also a gun that really doesn't seem to belong in the civilian population. It can't be a great hunting rifle because the animal would be so destroyed, no meat would be viable. I live in Aurora, Colorado, have family in California. My brother tells me of rising crime, but here in Colorado I was attacked last week and while taken to emergency immediately. The police didn’t come for statement till almost two hours later and did go till the scene of the crime for another hour after the attack that put me in the hospital. And the answer is well we went back but couldn’t find the people whom attacked you, duh, because it’s more then three hours later of course the wrong have fled. What gets me is have photos, was at my condos private pool, so unless women whom attacked me aren’t residents then they broke in or snuck in but Aurora police aren’t doing anything but I’m in pain, will have medical bills and the two young women whom attacked get off Scott free. Good justice system?
