Right not one mention of how he gaslit the citizens while weekly there’s a new derailment and Norfolk gave him a huge raise. Should fire him and with his salary hire actual workers maybe this would stop happening so frequently.
Our country would be significantly better if we close the wealth gap by heavily taxing the ultra wealthy and using those dollars as UBI for those less fortunate. They could also provide free health care for all, which is desperately needed btw
YES!! YES!!! YES!!!! Give the men and women some sick time so they don't come in delirious and cause accidents.... all the while...NS blaming the employee. Smh greed. It's all over those who have way way too much... wanting yet MORE. it's pathetic!
You can fire the CEO. You can punish him but that will not change way rail conducts its business. The rail industry is unsupervised by the government. The government’s overarching premise for a rail industry is wrong and if you accept a wrong premise everything after that is wrong too. Leaving individual rail companies to act on their own when they do not know how much to transport of the nation’s goods is the premise! The exact opposite should be the government’s role in the rail industry, supervising restoration and modernization of rail to make communities safe from the railroad.
ONG!!!!! Thank you so much for showing the footage of Mr L’s memorial! He was my favorite teacher in high school and I was so sad that I couldn’t make his memorial. I’m in tears right now just so happy he was acknowledged for the great man he was.
**Edited to clarify** Please make a full episode of all Good News stories! [**A separate episode aside from your normal news coverage, so the people who want to only hear bad news will not be upset by the addition of good news**] Even if just a compilation of past vids. Watching the news is important, in my opinion, but it is very straining on my mental health as well. Your Good News segments bring me happy tears and I wish there more of those to balance things out ❤
I always change it once they put the little feel good maybe people ain't so bad after all story's it's like come on they showed nothing but death and sadness now they want to make this be happy some kid got a autograph or something or someone got cashed out with their cancer
Right there with you! There's so much "doom and gloom" in this world, people need to be reminded that there is good too. And trying to balance out a news broadcast of mostly bad news, we need more "good news" segments to give us more of a balance. I truly hope they see your request. And they do what you, and a lot of us want to see.
@@YippydaSnoop The way I see it; the good news stories don't cancel out the bad news stories. Yes, there's lots of tragic events affecting lots of people and no, one person's uplifting event typically won't affect the same amount of people. But focusing on nothing but negativity, death, disaster, and distraught isn't very healthy for individuals and/or society...that's just my opinion ;)
Reservoirs are already very full in Northern California. They have been releasing water ahead of previous storms, I haven't heard if they're doing it again for this storm.
The so-called intelligent human beings thinking they can outwit mother nature by driving their cars in 10 ft of snow. How many other animals do you see out and about. Funny none.
My sister and her husband met each other in Mr Lamprecht's highschool choir (they were just off camera). I was in band, in the next classroom over, but I still knew him. He was a spectacular human. Very helpful to a new student in the middle of the year... Super honored that you would share him. Thank you, on behalf of all the students in the schools he taught at.
If we have the money to drop aid to Gaza, why don't we the money to aid all our homeless vets. 🤔 None of our heroes should be left starving, alone, on the streets. It's a disgrace. 🥺
This is when democrats agree with you and suggest doing just that, then you cry that’s socialism. These arguments aren’t pro-veteran they’re just a way to deflect responsibility. The world is waking up to the reality of how much republicans truly care about our vets.
What about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, maybe allowing an all time Historical Record of over 2,000,000 to 2,500,000 people into the USA (each and every year). Are they all "Perfect Angels"?
The people in their vehicles while those horses ran by must have been surprised. They were probably amused. When I was in high school, there was a farm in a wooded area near my home. And we lived in the city, but there was a lot of wooded area nearby. The horses from the nearby farm used to get loose sometimes and I remember them running down our street in front of our house. I used to enjoy seeing that.
Uhhh ... the Berlin. Airlift was not an air drop. Planes landed and emptied entire cargo bays, took off and then went back into west Germany to get more stuff. Those who do not know history are destined to repeat it
..the Berlin AIrlift was a massive operation where for over eleven months aircraft landed at Berlin's Tempelhof Airport with much needed food and supplies after the Soviets blockaded road m rail and water access. at the height of the campaign aircraft were landing every 45 seconds. C-47s (the military designation for the venerable DC-3) and larger 4 engine C-54s (DC-4s) flew an almost constant stream of supplies over the duration of the airlift. The States also sent a number of B-29 bombers to the UK should there have been any aggression against the supply flights. The population of Berlin at the time was about that of Gaza today. (2.5 million people) The difference is that airdrops currently being performed tend to be random where they end up whereas the airlift contreated on bringing supplies to a central point for supervised and coordinated distribution. Such a massive effort like the Berlin Airlift is impossible in Gaza as there is no place for aeroplanes to land there. A total of 278,228 flights into Berlin were made over the 11 month period delivering over 2.3 million tonnes of food and supplies. which breaks down to over 850 flight operations per day. This is far more than the number of trucks Israel allows into Gaza each day. Israel needs to back off and allow an unrestricted flow of aid into Gaza as even what arrives now is barely even a trickle compared to the Berlin operation of 76 years ago.
I always watch the NBC news every night on RU-vid. I don't always stay for the very end. However, Jose Diaz Velart watch the end to see what good news he had.
Jose does an excellent job as do Lester Holt and other fill ins. I will miss Kate Snow reporting on Sundays and special occasions. She decided not to continue with the Nightly News. She has her own show during the week.
Sometimes I think about getting a new car then I realize there are benefits like this as to the reason why I should just keep my 2004 car it has 2 dents in it as well as the paint is peeling off everywhere😂
How much would a monthly payment be on a new car? How much would it cost to fix the dents and paint on your current? I say make your 20yo car look new again, and consider that your new car payment, which will be paid off super fast.
@SUGAR_XYLER I am with you! I love my 1994 Ford LX Hatchback. 28 mpg..besides multivehicle car insurance rates makes insurance rates on my late model truck
How about making air drops of humanitarian aid of food and supplies to my fellow American brothers and sisters across this nation who need it and pay taxes to pay for those supplies? God Bless America and all my American Brothers, and Sisters of all colors, creeds, and backgrounds.
@mariesmith8454 Not necessarily. I continue to pay taxes, but can't afford to buy food. Fortunately, as a long-time volunteer at several food pantries, I get almost all of my food from those food pantries.
@@BasicYTHandle That's pretty cool that they allow you to take donations as well. Honestly, it should really be that way anyways. We should all be able to have SNAP benefits because it's a basic right to have access to food
It was the horses for meeeee!! And shout out to all the drivers whom were patient enough to wait for them to safely pass! All the while getting a highway horseshow! LOL!😂😂😂
@@girlfromthebronxbywayofelb7288lol yup, I was using my Bluetooth and talk to text while doing dishes. I didn’t realize when I hit the post button with my knuckle 😂 I thought since he was off last week and Kate is moving on that maybe he was too
@@TG-hf1gx The dispatchers are supposed to know when there's a train stopped on the tracks and is supposed to warn other trains. The ones on the trains are supposed to stay in touch with the dispatchers letting them know where they are on a regular basis.
Thank you for the amazing stories at the end of your broadcast. And for bringing awareness to those in immediate need and danger. There is so much going on in our world. All will be in our minds and praying for safety.
it's so sad that technology has made it easier to steal cars... We wouldn't have this issue if we simply eliminated a little convenience... As if people in the past were all suffering from sprained wrists while manually unlocking and turning on cars.
That's the thing, we can always do a better job at providing the proper amount of aid to those who are deprived of basic needs to survive. Shame on you for being so selfish
@wecountingmoneyoverhere2517 ohhhhh okay, so you are content with Russia taking over an entire country. What if they decide to start a war with another neighboring country? Would that be okay with you too? If so, I would seriously question if you are posting on behalf of Russia
Awww tyrese❤❤❤ making this world better by telling people dont let your road so far shut you down. Using who he is to lift this world up. We need more of him in this world. Especially to Americas Children.
So whats in the train cars that crashed in Pennsylvania? I didnt hear anything about that in the segment! Was there anything that could be a danger or that we should worried about? I feel like them testing the air says we should be. I'm an hour and a half away but that's not very far when things are carried by the wind.
Basic journalism. This story never mentioned where in PA this crash occurred. A brief reference to the Lehigh River suggests a location, but the mention of the nearest town or distance and direction from a major city is basic stuff. Your editorial standards are clearly falling.
@@GlennHeston - Interesting points. In some places here in the Dakotas, the nearest grocery store is 50 miles away. Some of these guys don’t even have cars!
It doesn't matter to me whether Nikki Haley has a chance or not. I want her to continue so she can publicly keep speaking the TRUTH about Traitor Trump. The public needs to hear the TRUTH from Republicans because all Trump does is LIE about everything all the time.
I'm compassionate to a point but, For years you Palestinians knew that Hamas was tunneling all over Gaza, getting ready for a war, you could have stopped them but you didn't. WHY? ❤
You are correct and the reality is Hamas bosses and their family have no shortage of food while the poor in the street starving cannot evening blame them fir their barbarity!!!! In my view they wish this turmoil on themselves and turn around blaming everyone. It’s funny yesterday people in Gaza worried about food, today airplanes dropped food and they are whining it’s not enough. How ungrateful. Just saying
The Republicans and Democrats in the Senate came up with the most strict Border Bill in Bi-partisan agreement. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson turned it down right off. He wouldn't even bring it up for a vote because Trump didn't want the bill to pass. And he pressured Republicans to not pass it. Trump wants the border situation to fail so he can run on that against President Biden.

It made me angry that they were complaining about the food being air dropped--not enough. The US Military is taking a dangerous chance in a war zone to help. It's the fastest way to get food to the displaced Palestinians. The trucks with food are having a hard time getting in. Instead of being grateful that the US was concerned that they tried to help, the Palestinians complained. It made me angry.
10:10 If she's so average why did you hire her as an ambassador. The old adage is you hire people that are better than you and that's what you did and now you're backtracking. AGAIN! ❤
Yeah, people he hired in his administration he would say they were the best and most qualified. Later, if he had issues with any of his officials, he'd diss them as incompetent. He is the one who was/is incompetent on many levels. Haley is a very smart and competent woman. She's much smarter than the Insurrectionist Former President that's for sure.
For the last several years, it's consistently looked like the east and west coast weather are switching places. Im in Canada just above Maine, havent had hardly any snow all year, no more than a foot on the ground at any time. No snow at all here now. The ground is barely frozen.
It always baffles me how employers harass employees to come into work when there is a state of emergency, roads are not drivable and you risk life and safety just trying to go out.
Regarding the Gaza resident who said "This is nothing" - referring to the 38,000 meals that were air-dropped - indeed, it is very little when compared to the need. However, as a long-time volunteer at several food pantries, I have been saying for years that, for those who receive free food, the ONLY proper response is "Thank you." In this instance, it might be "We need a lot more, but thank you for what you have provided."
regarding the car theft, across the pond we have been advised to keep our key fobs inside a lead box or some sort of insulated metal box, i don't know if that has helped or reduced further thefts ? Beautiful news at the end for the leukemia survivor, nice one x
