You are making me homesick. I had a home just outside Bowness for 25years. I regularly walked with my dog on the golf course where you are parked.

If not for Beatrix Potter we wouldn't have the Lake District as it is. She used proceeds from her books to buy up as much land as she could to prevent developers getting their mucky paws on it. Great vlog again guys, we went to st bees 2 years ago and went to Windermere and me and my sister went in the Beatrix potter museum and it was amazing. But you are right in the summer we couldn’t get lunch anywhere. Beatrix potter use to go to Scotland and the Lake District as a child growing up, as an adult she married a solicitor and she also bred herd wick sheep which were prize winners and brought farms to keep the landscape she most loved in the Lake District.When she passed away her properties went to the national trust xx

Hi guy's great vlog 👍 Car park at the back of Aquarium right down far end by railway siding is 24hr parking. Nice and quiet for good night sleep. Visitors shop and Boat boarding is next to Aquarium.

Sorry Mark but I actually laughed out loud when you had a dip in Coniston 😂. Ambleside looks amazing but somewhat spoilt by the traffic I agree. We’ve just got back had a fabulous stay, so much better without the crowds, stayed at caravan and camping club site, would recommend

I had a flippin dream about a cat last night because of you two!! 🥺 We love Bowness. Our static is that side so we often drive round to lakeside and get the boat to Bowness or carry on to Waterhead. You can’t go wrong in the Lakes it’s a wonderful place xx Amy Paul & Ted 🐾

that museum in Coniston is very good but not sure where you would park. there is or was a little CL right in the centre of Town but we have stayed at Coniston park coppice which was nice and a short walk along the lake and through fields into town. love that part of the country. we have not been for a few years so must remedy that! happy travels and I cant wait till your next vlog xx

How do Mark and Lisa 🙂well that answers the question I asked earlier, Lisa, LOL. guess the answer was no. I must admit that when I stayed in Bowness in my old van- Bessacarr Bessie, I was a carer for my ill mum so never got a chance to explore Bowness. Now I'm on my own and in Viv-i-van, maybe that will change and I 'll venture back. I am aiming for a couple of nights in Keswick soon in Viv-I-van so I'm pretty much gonna be in the right spot for some bimbles. I might do a night park up where you parked so thanks for the heads up. I just now need to get used to solo van life-which is not that easy when you were used to travelling with someone else. I will get there though, and hopefully manage to meet up with peeps on some of the youtube van life meetups. As ever, loving the channel, LOVED the drone footage (id love a drone for my channel) and always enjoy your company on youtube. Bessy regs-Kenny

the reason why Beatrix potter is well known in the far east is that her books are giving to school kids to learn English, so they know all the stories when they grow up. you need to go to Keswick a much nicer area that doesn't have too many day tripper tourists, a great walk around the lake or take to a higher path and walk over cat bells (fells)

These parking must cost you guys a fortune come buy a small house in Scotland and go on tours on weekends just think all these morning rolls mark haha

The mountain rescue team and air ambulance are kept busy, all swans are protected by the queen ( know the king Charles)

The public aren't allowed to feed them bread because it's meant to swell in there g u t t And make them I'll.
