I don't have a rule, actually I think thunderstorms here might be better after the recent rebelancing, previous ava was better but they changed some resistances so now TS is a bit better I think. When deciding I just check each monsters resistances and add them up. Thunderstorms/stoneshowers are usually 5%~ worse than ava/gfb so based on that I decide what's better. I don't run any calculations or anything heh.

I've been trying it on my RP but it's a bit too hard to do anything decent for now (480~). It's very hard! Think it's 600+

Yeah I can see it's a bit dark, but that's mostly because this hunting ground is actually very dark itself and I use Tibia Light Effects. Will keep it in mind for any future dark hunting grounds!

Only at a much higher level because RP can kill more monsters at a time. 547 RP and 547 EK are about equal in strength. Paladin become noticably stronger from maybe like 700+

Lowest denominator first. Naturally looted great health pots are always gonna feel better if you have the patience and cap for it. Thats just my opinion on 550 EK and playing every class to here and back a few times. Or just look at the wiki for 2 seconds. You'll feel it out

Hmmm. Things that have heavy dist skill debuff. I know Bulltaurs suck for RPs for example. Anything with Betrayed wraiths (e.g. prison, DT INQ). But yeah, in general can hunt most things :)

That was probably Discord's fault. Both servers are up and running, just check the invites from the description and they worked fine, so not sure what the issue was.

Honestly vocations in Tibia are relatively well balanced. I think as a new player I'd go for Knight.
