This is a new Bloodborne fan game from the creator of Bloodborne PSX! For the video I've trimmed down the races to one lap each to save a little time. The video also features the True Ending which has a pretty epic boss battle. :) Edit: Apologies, I screwed up the editing in my outro pun right at the end of the video. If you're wondering what it was supposed to be it was this: "I have over a hundred karts with naked people painted on them." "It's my erotic kart collection."
This is originally Bloodborn Kart but it was renamed and rebranded to be "original" since Sony send warning/Ceast&Desist letters to the dev. Funny how Sony left the IP to stuck in PS4 yet hunting down non-profit fan game of it.
@@huytungnguyen119 It's funnier how they were okay with Bloodborne PSX, which is demake of an actual game, but demake of their April fools joke is a too much for them to ignore
Totally not Lady Maria going through her pre-boss fight dialogue and the game just panning over to her actual clock mobile with a kart-esque music chime playing as she gets into it was pretty hilarious. I love how silly this fangame is with the sheer mood whiplash.
In this case, it is analogous to Mario karts. Nintendo wasn’t and isn’t afraid to do something like this; their games have a AAA budget. But I still agree with you. Indie developers are doing something original and interesting. While AAA is stagnating in service products.

It just sucks. I don't care about the game playing at higher fps like so many do but really why does Sony refuse to put this game on pc?? Why does it seem like they don't want to do absolutely nothing with this IP?
You can't just use a major copyrighted brand name on a Steam release even if it's free. Be real. How many Super Mario titled games are on Steam. How many Halo Kart's are on Steam. Zero. People should be thankful Sony allowed this to be released to the public as a free product on Steam with just a name change.
It's great that this finally came out, although it is still a bit sad that Sony slapped the team with a warning when the project was so near completion. "Definitely-not-Bloodbourne-we-swear-kart" is still pretty great though, even if the process of filing of the serial numbers left it looking a bit scuffed. Edit: Misinformation given due to minor sleep deprivation is still misinformation.
On further viewing, the change to Micolash is the most heart wrenching, as his previous version rejects any form of wheel entirely, in favor of sprinting down the racetrack flailing his arms like a lunatic, which was fucking hilarious.
@@gasterblaster9817 Micolash still sprints in the boss fight, kind off. He mostly prances around at high speeds and the starts actually running at the third part.
It's interesting that after getting the cease and desist, Lilith not only created legally distinct versions of each character, but also decided to use biblically accurate angels intead of Lovecraftian horrors (Since they're both the same thing really). But also took the chance to actually change some of these characters a bit in personality
Wow this looks like a fun game, but the races seem to be very short. The music is super catchy and really well done too. The tone shift is pretty comical, serious story one minute and then goofy, uplifting racing music the next. Love it.
It's so good!! Despite having to file the serial numbers off in a great hurry, the not-Bloodborne story makes sense and the not-Bloodborne characters are hilarious.
For the record, Lilith, the dev, also has an excellent RU-vid channel (Lilith Walther) with amazing PSX animation vids. Not only do they have game dev chops, they can shitpost with the best of them. Support these trans creators, and happy Pride Month!
Yeah, this dev made quite a great kart game. Too bad Sony tried to copyright strike for game's name and characters design but he managed to get around those corpos and pretty much left the almost same Bloodborne'ey style!
I cant believe what PS did to this game, dont get me wrong, its still amazing, but what a shame she had to ditch the bloodborne content. It was literally free advertising and an incredibly powerful adition to the brand, also Sony asked her to remove the bloodborne stuff just before release, screw them.
Praise the Good Blood that this game even exists. Who in their right minds plays Bloodborne, and thinks "You know what, this would make a bitchin kart racer."? Gloriously crazy people, that's who.
Really cool. Only complaint I have is the retro graphics, but I know that's because the developer(s) have experience in that sort of graphics style, and coding more contemporary graphics would take a lot longer.
