AFTER A 3 WEEK CONFRONTATION AFTER GEORGE CLIFTON CALLED MY WIFE (THAT THING OVER THERE) ALL STARTED BECAUSE ME AND MY WIFE ARE FRIENDS WITH OTHER NEIGHBOURS. I TOOK THIS VIDEO BECAUSE THE WEEK PREVIOUS MY NEIGHBOUR CALLED MY WIFE A GOLLYWO@ OVER THE FENCE AND SHOUTED THE WORD BLACK MANY TIMES WHILST TRYING TO SING SOME SONG WHERE THE ONLY WORD IS BLACK WHICH I CAUGHT ON VIDEO AND THEN ON THIS DAY ALL HELL BROKE OUT. HE HAS SINCE BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF USING WORDS OF RACISM AND CAUSING HARM BY RECKLESS USE OF A HAND SAW. WE GOT ON FOR 3 YEARS BUT IT ALL CHANGED WHEN WE CAME BACK FROM KENYA IN JUNE 2013. I EVEN TOOK HIM TO HOSPITAL TWICE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND HELPED HIM BUILD HIS VEGGIE ENCLOSURE LAST YEAR. WE EVEN EXCHANGED XMAS PRESENTS. WHAT CAN I SAY YOU CANT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. CONVICTED RACIST THUG CLIFTON IS NOW GOING TO STAR ON CHANNEL 5'S NIGHTMARE NEIGHBOUR NEXT DOOR AS ME AND MY WIFE REFUSED TO TAKE PART , IF WE HAD SAID YES FIRST THEN WE WOULD HAVE BEEN FILMED FOR THE SHOW AND CLIFTON WOULD HAVE HAD TO ANSWER THE ALEGATIONS BUT ITS NOW THE OTHER WAY ROUND SO LET HIM HAVE HIS DAY ON TV THANKS TO EMILY FROM FLAME TV THATS www.flame.tv.co.uk.

Unfortunately this horrible couple came to live across the road from us. What an abusive person he really is. threating me and trying to control the whole street. the amount of times, the police arrived, the ambulance arrived in the 4 years, was amazing. They have now moved thank goodness. Her to nursing home and him to a warden controlled 1 bed bungalow. Vile people.

I even took George to his hospital appointments in 2013 and helped him in his garden with stuff he couldn't do on his own and we used to exchange xmas gifts im even pening this message sat on the computer chair he gave us but then he suddenly changed. we both got on well for 3 years then he just flipped out. this racist issue has been building up inside of him for ages I think.

The problem with old people a lot of them are on meds and they suffer from dementia and Parkinson's which makes them highley aggressive and abusive my doctor used visit the elderly wards and he'd say they had too sedate with heavy meds too keep them calm .

my neighbour George Clifton went to court on april 4th 2014 and was found guilty of the racist attack on my wife and assault on myself he was fined £700 so he now has a criminal record. this dispute has nothing to do with the fence its all down to when we went to Kenya we allowed our other neighbour to park there car on our drive and George didn't like that. he told us he was going to take down his fence and not replace it and he runs a dog sitting business from home under the name of gac dog walking so could have upto 4 dogs in his garden at a time and with now fence I in the end put up a 6' fence on my property and he has now put up a 6' fence on his property so we now have a 4" no mans land between us but it doesn't stop him spraying me with his hose pipe when he nows im in the garden using my power tools. and only 4 weeks ago tried to run our car of the road whilst using his business van and having 2 greyhound dogs in the back unrestrained so what injuries they must of had we don't know but it was all reported to the police so let them deal with it.

I asked my neighbour if he would like to go 50/50 on a fence. He said absolutely! I told him I would do all the work and he was just responsible for 1/2 the materials. THE COUNCIL HAVE NOW GIVEN ME PERMISSION TO BUILD A 7FT HIGH FENCE AT THE FRONT BETWEEN ME AND GEORGE AS LONG AS IT IS ONLY 1MTR HIGH AND 1.2MTR LONG WHERE IT TOUCHES THE PUBLIC PATH SO A VEHICLE HAS A VIEW OF THE ROAD WHEN LEAVING THE DRIVE. THE COUNCIL ALSO NOTIFIED THE POLICE JUST INCASE THERE WAS A PROBLEM WHEN I START TO BUILD MY FENCE SO WE ARE GETTING THERE AND HOPEFULLY I CAN LOWER THE KERB AT THE FRONT SOON AS WELL.

it is the government planning portal that gives you the law of the land as councils planning enforcement officers have to act accordingly. thats why my bench was built with the portal info and when the council instructed me to remove it i stood my ground and they had to back down. always take third party advice if you are not sure.

Reminds me of a neighbour we had years ago. We had a beautiful Weeping Willow tree in our back garden, which gave us some privacy that our good neighbour directly across from us was also happy to have. But our next door neighbour didnt like it cos one or two small branches (which could have easily been cut) would overhang into his garden. I came back from work one day and the whole tree was gone!!! The wanker had called the council and had them cut it down. All he had to do was knock on my door and ask me to cut the few branches and i would have done it, no problem. He told me the tree was "an eyesore"..... How can a beautiful Weeping Willow be called an eyesore????? I just dont understand it? Anyway, the Weeping Willow grew back to as big as it was before after a few years and my neighbour died because he spent most of his life drinking alcohol. Result !!!

In the past, I've had some bloody awful neighbours. I buggered off to New Zealand 25 years ago and now live in a 4-bed bungalow in the middle of 3.5 acres. The best neighbours are no neighbours- absolute bliss. Flaxen Saxon.

just for the record to everyone watching the now convicted racist thug George Clifton said on local media that he replaced his indian neighbours fence at a cost of £1100 what he didn't say was he didn't ask for their permission and the police were called and work had to stop. the police ordered Clifton to replace the fence which is what happened but certainly wasn't a kid jesture on his part it was just another one of his bullying tackticks to get his way. shame on you George albert Clifton. George was convicted of racism at Cheltenham magistrates court april 4th 2014. as much as he says he is not a racist he has a criminal record that says otherwise.

I'm pretty sure it became popular in the US to add setbacks to zoning regulations because of this sort of thing. Normally rational people seem to become raving lunatics when it comes to territory. I worked as a land surveyor for about five years several decades ago and encountered numerous cases where property lines had driven people insane. I have several stories that are too long to tell here, but which would make the behavior shown in this video seem "normal".

I am a city building inspector and I can vouch that inside city limits there are zoning ordinances with property line setbacks. In my city it's usually 5 ft. on the side. Most have 6-8ft. fences. The fence is too often the ASSUMED property line but can be off by a foot or more especially in older neighborhoods. Every once in a while I get called out on a complaint dealing with this same crap. It inevitably becomes a civil issue. People make the biggest things out of nothing. Also, there can be other underlining issues effecting behavior. Alcohol, medications and sometimes simply genetics or being married to the wrong person, HAHA. Those two grumps sure didn't help talk each other down.

Young Finneser where we live, (canada) when building a fence if the neighbour doesn’t pay half or doesn’t want a fence (hence a fence on the property line) then you need to build the fence minimum of one foot from the property line. In order to maintain your fence without being on your neighbours yard

Erica Bigras in the UK we have a property line, your allowed to build upto that line, the old racist guy claiming the red fence is his but the wooden support is somehow on the racist guys property, the wooden supports would be behind the red fence if it was the old guys property, as he stated the red fence is his so he obviously had it placed there meaning it would he his own fault either way. Your version actually sounds better as it avoids the perimeter line where confrontation is.

John 1888 even on farm land where I live a farmer must pay (when facing the fence line or possible fence line) the right hand side. That way every owners pays fencing. And no one get free fencing ( by three people around him/her fencing and you not) the system only works as good as people respect it. One neighbour shares a property fence with my husband and I and the other neighbour has a foot between property line and his fence. So legally he has every right to be « in my driveway » on « my side » of his fence.

I also have an elderly neighbour that seems to think he SHOULD be told of & be a part of everything that happens in my life. He goes wild if he sees me talking with any other neighbours. "I LIVE 'ERE" is his justification for standing outside my windows watching & shouting at me inside my own home (its a shared garden). Our landlord's agent did very little for 4 years, because he "seemed like a very upset nice old man" when they spoke to him about his behaviour & "I Don't want to single anybody out". He's been alcohol dependent for 30 years & is 'special' so has had lots of practice playing the victim (he will claim he is being "picked on" when I & others avoid him - the 'picked on' narrative has been his get out of jail free card since school, where he had to have all practical lessons with girls, because he would use equipment as weapons & go after other boys he had previously decided were 'picking on him' if allowed away from his desk) These people are a nightmare & social justice types refuse to do anything about them.

The video was taken in 2013 and we now have an 8ft high divide between us it was 6ft up until 3 weeks ago but my neighbour decided to put up barbed wire and black netting above his fence so i timbered him out and he has now removed the barbed wire.
