Nightmare Night Instrumental 

12 years later, still a banger.

Story time. I actually knew this song well before I got involved with MLP. Specifically the instrumental. Back in the day (way back) I was big into horror games and creepypastas, specifically the SCP foundation. I would watch scp file readings and the like. I then found some person roleplaying as a member of the foundation and doing the readings. The introduction video (titled scp-000, despite no such SCP existing) had this very instrumental playing in the background. (The channel is called MissShadowLoveley last I remeber). When I finally saw mlp a few years later, I stumbled upon the original song, and something sounded oddly familiar. I couldn't put my finger on it. Then it finally all clocked one day when going on a nostalgia trip. Now here I am, going on the same kind of nostalgia trip a few years past then and the same feelings are here. That is how I heard this song before I even knew what is was. Edit: for a rough timeline, I was nearly ten when I first discovered SCP, about 14-15 when I discovered MLP by unrelated means and I am currently almost 18.

It's unreal to me how I haven't heard this song in close to 8 years, but all I need is one glance at the thumbnail and I immediately remember the whole thing. Just what a good song does to you, it never quite goes away.

Nightmare moon was by far my favorite mlp antagonist . i really didint understand all of her role as double of Luna but her voice , her hair and her personality in general were entretenaid to see in the show . She scared me and thats why i liked her . When i grow up i became a sucker for war gods and she fited perfect for the character

This is gonna sound strange but , this song is surprisingly calming.

10/10 would walk down the street wearing nothing but the clothing of the grim reaper with this song playing

I love how it is a modern pop style song, but it still manages to keep that halloween type mode.

I have to say, the piano in the beginning has got to be one of the most beautiful things I've found in a while, even though I'm more of an electronic guy, plus this song also has that! Without the lyrics, I feel like I can appreciate it even more, though the lyrics are also good.

I was directed by my friend to this song... I don't like rap but the songs instrumental sounded good so i quickly found this video. If this is thr quality of music that comes from MLP... Maybe I will watch a couple of the episodes. Got nothing against bronies but remember that you weren't the first fan base sectioned out.
