I recently purchased a set of that at $30.30. Mine was listed as Very Good, but it looks Brand New to me. That is an excellent price for the fantastic condition it is in. Mine has the booklet and 3D glasses. It difficult to get a set of that in Very Good or Like New condition at a low price with the booklet and 3D glasses. I got mine because I had 8 of the films in two 4 Film Favorites cases, and I wanted to replace those with a better set so I could throw those two cases away. The discs were separate, but the downside is that they were stacked one on top of the other. I wanted a set of them separate so I would not need to keep taking them out to get to a disc I want. I have the A Nightmare on Elm Street two-disc New Line Platinum Series DVD. I also have Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy two-disc regular edition DVD from Christmas 2011. I own Freddy vs. Jason as a two-disc DVD, so I could easily throw away the two 4 Film Favorites sets once I got this 1999 set. I also own Never Sleep Again from Christmas 2011. I even own a two-disc DVD of A Nightmare on Elm Street from 2015 that has some bits from Never Sleep Again included in the Special Features. I am extremely happy with the 1999 DVD set I bought. I had been wanting this for many years, going back to 2015 or 2016.
I have that Nightmare DVD set - got it as a gift from an ex girlfriend of mine at the time. THAT'S how to do a deluxe box; the transfers still hold up if you have good upconverting equipment. I just watched the original the other night as part of my ongoing Halloween viewing....
I still have my VHS and DVD Collection I got when they came out. I first got the VHS one because I didn't have a DVD player but once I got a player I got the DVD. I also have Freddy's Nightmares on DVD and Blu-ray with 4 disc of extras that haven't been released on legit releases. Like the Making of Nightmare 4 TV special as well as the MTV Freddy Krueger Video Hour, deleted footage, Showtime special about Freddy's Dead and more
Sick dvd boxset! I only own the blu ray collection. They definitely need to update these movies with a new boxset. Halloween fans and Fridays fans are spoiled.
