There's a movie called Kyoukai no Kanata Mirai-hen that explains what happens after and it's very emotional. It's more intense then the series itself :3 you're welcome :D

+Azn Invasion It's really good. Tho, if you haven't read the light novels the anime will skip some parts (all anime does). But Kyoukai no Kanata actually skips some big moments that complete the story. The movie (telling the after story) is also really good.
