Boy howdy, in my day we only had Coleman lanterns and made rebar hangers to get them over the water. Used them for gigging flounder too.Good info on your gear Marc.
I really appreciate it when you do these videos, Mark. Love to see you catch fish, but you always do a great job of teaching us things as well, so your breakdown videos are appreciated.
Excellent video Mark. There are a couple tips that I like to share: 1. On that 1000 W live bulb to make sure it is the clear bulb and not the foggy. Some people who are new at tyes we're not know the difference And get the wrong Bulb. 2. Those overhanging lights that clip on for extra lighting around you,,If you want to avoid them bugs that are attracted to the light I would recommend to buy a yellow bulb. Those yellow bugs provide pretty good amount of light without the hassle or the annoying amount of bugs being drawn to you. Other than that again always enjoying your videos.
Mark I bought my PAR-64, 2 of them off of eBay for $55 for both. Not that it matters but they're black cans. Thanks for sharing and as always "Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"
i use a telescoping led light from amazon and it lights up enough, all i use is rubix cube sized 6ah 12v battery and it will last for at least 6 hours.
This very good info. You are, in fact, using GE LED based lights. I bought an LED battery powered ultra bright LED light. It creates more lumens (brighter) but it's beam spread is not as wide as yours. Also need to test battery life. Not a big price to pay ~$30. But your rig is more versatile with lights for people to use as well. Bottom line is to have fun catching fish night or day.
Saludos y gracias!!
Thanks for the info 👍. I use the halogen spotlight for the water. The LED drop lights are for lighting up the area so the audience can see what’s happening.
