Nightvale Needs More Gay 

Night Vale has proven that you can have a dramatic romance story without having the characters go through break-ups, affairs, love triangles, and other typical tv drama we're so use to. The sources of drama in the relationship are also very relatable; Cecil having to realize that Carlos isn't perfect, Carlos being a workaholic, etc. Despite these challenges it always remains clear that the two still love each other and are happier together than apart. That is how you write a romance.

I've actually worked with the main voice actor Cecil Baldwin before. He's a phenomenal guy and seems quite grateful for the show's success.

I need to edit my comment. I agree with you on this point. I like this relationship and find it funny around the same time the podcast was being made being gay in this show is one of the most normal things about the show. And I like that it's never started their gay and beating the metaphorical Horse into the ground like they want attention soooo baaaad.. Their just together and I can respect that.

I tried listening to Night Vale, I really did - the whole concept is wonderful, but I hate how Cecil's voice is like a guy telling spooky stories around the campfire. I think it would be much funnier and more effective if he actually sounded like a radio newsman. The way it is just kind of ruins it for me, considering it's a podcast and there's little else to focus on.
