Daredevil can literally picture the majority of someone's gear by smell as he proved back in Daredevil/Deadpool Annual 1997 when from across a room he not only noticed the fact a magnetic field was surrounding Deadpool like a hologram but the fact he noticed the smell of explosives, latex, plastic, gun oil between other things as well as a second time back in Deadpool vol.3 #11. the use of sonic weaponry is highly unlikely, starting by the fact NW does not know Daredevil is weak to them and it is hardly a go to tactic to employ against people in a one versus one scenario. On top of that, Daredevil has proven to still retain enough consciousness with his other senses to keep fighting on, as he showcased when shooting a weapon that generated a massive ultrasonic outburst while fighting Hulk during Indestructible Hulk #10 and demonstrating he can still fight head on after being severely affected by it, likewise, he proved as much during Daredevil vol.1 #335 when 4 of his 5 senses, including his hearing, was nullified and he could still feel the air pressure of a bullet traveling through the air.
Nightwing was Trained by the worlds greatest detective and would probably figure out daredevils sonar very quickly from his tech picking up the sonar waves
Dyltack just because he was trained by one of the greatest detectives does not mean he can figure out almost everything like the Batman and I feel daredevil would never give away some thing that personal because at first nw never knew anything about him and by daredevil said”I wish I could see your face “ I feel gives away to much of a hint and I feel he would never do that and like proper said he still has Conciousness even when has a heavy weakness to a lot of sound/noise so I feel daredevil would win
@hunk • what? He's beaten iron fist. I'm pretty sure iron fist is leagues above Deathstroke in hand to hand and even Batman for that matter. He's even beaten captain America who should of beat Batman by the way. And is compared to martial art masters such as iron fist. He even beat someone with better senses strength and speed but still won thanks to his knowledge of fighting.
The biggest problem I had with this fight was that all it took was a sonic wingding to completely immobilize Daredevil. Which is just straight up bs. As you stated Daredevil has overcome COUNTLESS sonic attacks.
Element7 I tried arguing that with some heavy duty nightwing/batman fans I also used the fact that daredevil as anti sound tech to help reduce the effectiveness of sound as a weapon being used against him but a lot of them just wanted to ignore those facts
@@OblivionKisame Have you seen the Nightwing VS Daredevil Q&A on Death Battle Cast? They show where the ear protection does help alittle, but it still leaves him immobilized and Daredevil even said in the comic that it felt like his head was being sawed in half and then he fell off a building.
OblivionKisame but that doesn’t make any sense of he reduced wait sound when sharp blasts do then he couldn’t hear anyway, plus Nightwing could just smack him in the ears which can immobilise normal peoples senses, for Daredevil it’d be so much more. Daredevil I think has more things stacked his way (hearing), but Nightwing is just as good at combat, would be more agile and flexible cause of his acrobatics. Plus he has gadgets he could use which could disorientate Daredevil enough to come out on top.

Even when Dick was Robin, he was not dependent on Batman all the time, sometimes he had to solve his own crimes and fight his own fights. And Nightwing, for the last time, is the smarter fighter and while Daredevil does have more combat expierence, NW has more range of experience, he isn't just the Knight of Bludhaven, he is also the leader of the Titans and the former leader of the Teen Titans. He's led major-league superhero teams up against gods, demons, alien invasions, other dimensions, and everything in between. Nightwing's been to more places, seen more weird things, and been The Man With The Plan in more world-class crisis situations than any Marvel martial artist save Captain America himself. And you say Nightwing's skill doesn't rival Batman's you say, while it has already proven. Dick was also trained by legendary martial artist Richard Dragon and don't forget his training as a cop and a spyral agent.The cave fight between Dick and Bruce, Bruce was cleary going all out, he was thrashing dick in the cave, and Nightwing wasn't wearing any armor. Dick (as Batman) also fought a Darkseid Clone of Batman who was enhanced from the Lazarus pits (and the Batman clone has all of Bruce's skills and abilities). He's bested Damain Wayne more times then not, and Jason Todd while at a disadvantage and Jason also traveled thw world learning skills. He stalemated Cassandra Cain (who is a more skilled and deadlier fighter then Batman, and she could beat Daredevil in a fist fight); he even gained the upper hand on Bronze Tiger. He held his own against Lady Shiva with his ribs broken and not slept for two days, and Shiva is equal to Iron Fist in terms of skill. He held hsi own against Deathstroke numerous times and He bested Ra's Al Ghul in sword combat and beaten David cain in a hand to fight. And like Matt, Dick also is skilled at pressure point fighting, nerve pinches, lethal forms of combat and the Death Touch. NW is also shown to be a body reader and predict the moves of an opponent (it's true, it up). And I am not saying Nightwing is a good of a body reader as Daredevil, I'm just saying that because people forget Dick has those abilities well. And I am now starting to get why you come up with such ridcoulous arguments as why Daredevil completey outclasses Nightwing, you tend to exaggerate how crazy are Daredevil’s feats compared to Nightwing’s, you know that kid who says he can run up to 25mph (we all know he is lying lol) but then aome other kid calls him slow and says, “well i am WAY WAY WAY faster than you, because i can run at 25.2mph” (we all know he is also lying lol) I do agree that Matt is superior to Dick Physically, but this is not a David and Goliath situation. As for acrobatic skills, i presume it may be because you tend to confuse agility and acrobatics, while they are related, they are not the same thing (Correlation=/=Causation), it may also have to do with something Stan Lee said about DD’s radar sense, that it’s better than Spiderman’s spider sense. People like to use this as proof that Nightwing would not stand a chance against Daredevil, according to them: since not even Batman can sneak up on Spiderman, then Nightwing, who is a toned down Batman, gets stomped by Daredevil, who’s radar sense is better than Spidey’s spider sense I agree that Dick is the better formal acrobat, but i also think that Matt has better physical agility. Dick has the genes of his parents, who were highly trained and talented acrobats themselves, as well as training as a circus acrobat since his childhood, and his training with Batman developed his acrobatic skill even farther to the point of becoming the #1 human acrobat of DC On the other, While Matt is not a circus acrobat, nor are his parents such, he is depicted training since he was young with his parents gear in his debut, comic in a few particular frames you can see him doing gymnastics and aerobics, added to this, his training with Stick consists of ninja training, and agility is a common asset with ninjas and eastern martial arts, but most importantly, his powers evolved his agility big time, performing displays of agility no human, not even highly agile and acrobatic ones should reasonably be capable of doing and while he isn’t the best acrobat in Marvel, he is the number #1 HUMAN acrobat When it comes to agility, Nightwing has experience (Matt may have been training since his childhood, but so has Dick and even has the genes of his parents) While Matt has enhanced ability (because while Nightwing has training and genes he is still limited to human boundaries, sure, Matt is not a HIGH level meta-human, but he is the one with some degree of superpowers, unlike Dick It really depends on which you prefer: Experience or Enhanced ability According to me, we should establish differences: Agility=/=Acrobatics (or at least not necessarily, look at it this way, Football players are really agile but not very acrobatic, on the other hand i could, say, perform a backflip, but if i’m not very agile, i would require more effort than someone who IS far more agile than me, however that does not take away that i AM capable of doing so, it’s just that i requiere more work on my part) If we look at acrobatics and strictly acrobatics, i’m going with Nightwing, his time as a circus acrobat means he can perform a huge variety of crazy tricks, while i don’t doubt that Daredevil would be capable of doing so too, His’ is more centered around combat, like a ninja. However if we go by pure, raw physical agility, i’m going with Daredevil, his agility is borderline supernatural, he is capable of keeping up and even outmaneuver some of Marvel’s most agile beings like Spiderman, Nightcrawler and Gambit, all of which have superhuman agility that far surpass that of even Matt himself, he also displays far more agility feats mid combat, unlike Nightwing, whose feats are mostly out of combat.

My biggest issues with their so called research is that they left out the facts that daredevil has anti sound tech to help reduce the effectiveness of sound being used as weapon against him and he has fought and won while disoriented from soundthat was biggest issues a minor issue through is that daredevil has more gadgets that he uses than what they listed they made it sound like he barley uses anything other than his batons

I like Daredevil more,but of course DB just had to underestimate Marvel and had to overestimate DC. The thing is, anyone who can at least hold thier own against Spidey is gonna give most other street-levels a hard time, just cause of how ridiculous the feats he's achieved.

It wasnt a feat because: 1) DD easily dodges bullets making this "feat" irrelevant 2) the feat they referenced was not actual bullet-timing, as NW dodged the barrel of the gun and not the actual bullets

He joined Bruce at the age of 8 and started crime fighting as a child. Matt started out as Daredevil after he was an adult... Nightwing is 30 something now..he joined Bruce after he was Batman for two years.. he's just as experienced as Bruce, maybe more so because he started earlier than Bruce. Nightwing has been dealing with way bigger threats as a teenager with Teen Titans before Matt even started crime fighting. Not to mention Dick had a better mentor than Matt. I thought it was accurate. Nightwing seems to have a reputation among comic fans as a lightweight when he's one of the biggest heavyweight non-metas in the DC universe. So not surprised at these opinions honestly.
Almost all the videos of Death battle are stupid(specially when its about anime). Daredevil should have won that fight. They clearly accepted that dardevil was physically stronger, DD combat ability surpassed Nightwing. However their argument was that the Intelligence and gadgets of Nightwing would give him the victory. It doesn’t convince me. When Nighwing fighted Batman and Deathstroke he didn’t had time to think or make plans and if Nightwing fights DD the outcome would be the same. DD is a monster. Matt has fighted with Captain America and Hulk and survive thanks to his reflexes and speed (sources: “Dardevil (1964) ISSUE #163 and “Daredevil (2011) ISSUE #2” ). DD has defeated Spider man and Wolverine ( sources WOLVERINE (2003) ISSUE #24 and THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN (1974) ISSUE # 110 ). I hate how Death Battle puts a lot of effort in choreography and effects but can’t investigate properly.
IMO The biggest issue that the Daredevil movie has done regarding the character is cause a MAINSTREAM BELIEF that Matt Murdock reacts to sonic weapons or spikes in volume the way a teenager's dick reacts to a vagina. The DD movie had an uncharacteristically sensitive take on Daredevil and his senses and you can tell that a lot of people believe that this extreme example of his senses is the standard when it's not. The way radar sense works and is often depicted in the comics is something Matt has control over, and he'll fight beside gunshots or even supers smashing concrete and throwing cars and stuff, noting that it's ANNOYING, but it isn't DISORIENTING. This thing where people think you can blow a dog whistle and put Daredevil on his knees clutching his head is absolutely ridiculous. Now that being said I do still think this fight is close, I'm a fan of both characters but I feel like there's a level of mainstream misinformation that makes people forget that Daredevil is one of the top hand to hand fighters in the Marvel universe, and his power and skillset is pretty specialized in a manner of making him devastatingly difficult to touch in a fight. Dude is built to have a strong chance at taking people out, especially in random encounters.

Something they said in the Podcast was: "One has a weakness of the other it's that simple." Which makes no sense cause they're implying the Sonic is DD's weakness when Eye Sight is literally NW's weakness. NW uses stealth often, weakness. DD has attacked people's through floors and walls by throwing his baton, not even joking, Frank Miller run. NW stands no chance it's a massacre really.
I really liked your analysis on Screwattack’s videos and while i agree with a lot of what you said i’m not sure about the strenght part (didn’t say i disagree, just unsure) wasn’t Nightwing able to squat out an Orca’s bite, which is estimated to be 19.000 PSI? Has Daredevil done anything more impressive than that? Or is the feat an outlier of some sort?
Nightwing held the mouth open with his body using both arms and lengths. But what's more accurate is that he was holding it open and not resisting it. There is a difference between the bite force of an Orca (no resistance) at around 19,000 pounds per square inch; And the strength of the jaw of an Orca which would be more akin to pressure or joules. I don't know the exact numbers but Nightwing isn't actively holding off 19,000 psi. He's keeping the mouth open against the Orca's ability to close its mouth. This feat would be much more profound if the Orca had already bitten down 90% of the way, Nightwing stopped it and then reopened the mouth to escape. But this is a basic case of physics. A simple case of inserting a vertical support in between the Orca's top and bottom mouth while its mouth is wide open. It'll hold it open. Just like wranglers hold Crocodile mouths shut before they get any energy into an actual bite. Meanwhile Daredevil flipped a limo over at presumably, SirSplash's lowball number of 6800lbs using only his arm muscles. It's more impressive in my opinion, then holding open an Orca's jaw. Which by the way... a bite force is at its weakest when the jaw is all the way open. Without the momentum of the bite, someone of Nightwing's stature or even Daredevil could hold the mouth open. All about timing.
Sir Splash Oh i see, Screwattack also mentioned that Nightwing was able to break a car window under water and that due to it being pressurized it is an extremely difficult feat to pull of, is that also countered by Daredevil’s Limo lifting feat?

A well done video. I knew once they announced the fight and the love action crew, that it would be biased as all heck. That aside I enjoyed the fight for entertainment value, but that said I believe that like Splash said its the miss representation of Daredevil in their video that was their failure.

Also another thing I wanted to add to this debunk: Since Daredevil, for a long period of time threw arrows accurately, this is gonna be a problem for Nightwing, because in the video the only projectiles they listed for Daredevil was the billy club thrown as a projectile, the exploding pellets, and the boomerang form of his billy club, but there was a time when Daredevil's billy club turned into a freaking rifle that even came with a fold-out shield and then put that with his accuracy and how fast he can move his arm and then, Nightwing will get blitzed.
Do you really think you can be a child sidekick and not get good at anticipating where a shooter is gonna blast?! Also, Nightwing isn’t a ranged fighter like the Arrowfamily, he’d get in close and that’s the biggest weakness of a rile.
CBUBs had Nightwing beat Daredevil by coating the building and himself with pepper spray and staying at range while spamming flash bang grenades ton control Daredevil's movement path. Granted, their Nightwing had no idea the "flash" part of the bang was useless, but that's what they fell back on in case Nightwing won the fan votes, which he did, and he didn't have to kill Daredevil, which he didn't, to win. I'll admit on the Screw Attack video that I just accepted Nightwing being stronger based on the orca whale feat. I didn't realize Daredevil was in the multiple ton lifting range, even if is was low single digits. That technically makes him stronger than post Morbius bite Blade going by the official Marvel data books(Blade actually has better strength feat in comic panels, but is officially at one imperial ton). I knew about Daredevil beating Electro, but I didn't consider the implications of it when reading CBUB(which is fan voted anyway back when DC was hotter than Marvel) or watching Death Battle.
Can I ask, is there a Death Battle you found at the very least mostly accurate? I mean obviously they're shit and they low ball the losers and high ball the winners and make multiple claims that are blatantly wrong, but just wondering if there's at least one Death Battle you thought was okay research wise.
My biggest question is CAN nightwing actually can analyze dd if he is blind or not and also can heroes or villain scan dd weakness or know he is blind Like iron man?

I agree Daredevil should win, but you kinda low-ball Batman and Nightwing. Yeah they're peak humans, but they're comic peak humans which are pretty much superhuman compared to irl peakhumans. Batman does consistently bullet-time and even has lifted several tons, Nightwing keeps up with Batman (only somewhat). Daredevil is still superior physically though.
But Nightwing is Batman’s full Equal, as a fight would go down against Nightwing, it would against Bats though. Nightwing can and knows how to get absolutely BRUTAL so if the Argument is “Batman’s more brutal” no no no… He beat some kinda villain to a bloody pulp and made his Logo on his chest in his own blood. 🤣

Yeah Daredevil would definitely win. He is just too strong. Also the Radar Sence, Can’t beat it. Hell Daredevil is one of those heroes who Evolved past their Weaknesses.
Thanks for making this video. I get Nightwing is a fan favorite and they both do often get compared to one and another, but Daredevil has taken hits form hulk, went toe to toe with Spider-Man (one of the strongest street level heros in Marvel) and has a lot more years of fighting experience. Nightwing will put up a good fight, and in some cases, win, but there's noway he's beating Daredevil. No matter what toxic Nightwing fans might say.

I don't think wiz and boomstick really read comics until they decide to make a deathbattle. Thus the wrong and leftout factors. Sometimes i'll agree with the winner but not the way it was determined.

I believe even if both characters were fully analyzed it would be a close match. I'd at least give Daredevil the speed advantage and Nightwing the arsenal, but everything else is pretty up in the air with their feats and inconsistent writing. SA did answer a few extra questions in their follow-up podcast, but it would've been better if some of them made it into the video. Even if I disagree with a couple points, I can respect the amount of effort into the argument. If there's two things I'd suggest, it would be better if you put the scans in the actual video rather than talk about it and to watch out for the salt levels so that they do not take away from your argument. Not that it's much of a problem here, but some debunkers like Seth and TGF can turn audiences off with their attitudes.
3 seconds would be more than enough time to kill Daredevil also combine that with nightwing turning of the lights which I'm pretty sure Matt can sense would lead him into a false sense of security so he probably wouldn't have expected the sonic wing-ding.
Because practically all their characters are god level even batman (but that's due to plot armor but even so bats is a god amongst men dude mastered multiple martial arts most people need a lifetime to master one).

Since when does 24 times 5 equal a 100 the math ain't mathing here 24 times 5 equals 120 so daredevil either got to sleep when firing those arrows or you made a miscalculation. Edit: also a 100 hour isn't that much compared to 96 hours if we go by your calculations.
Reality Ensures Reality Ensures in Death Battle/DBX Ultimately what usually decides the winner of most fights in Death Battle. Batman vs. Spiderman demonstrates why being a Badass Normal doesn't really work if your opponent is comprehensively superhuman, can nullify your greatest asset and is just as crafty and clever as you are. Likewise, Black Panther vs. Batman also demonstrates that if your opponent is just as much of a strategic genius and has a Nigh-Invulnerable super suit that you're not prepared for, you'd be in for a losing battle. Similarly, the Master Chief vs. Doomguy video shows why being what amounts to a Badass Normal One-Man Army doesn't really work if your opponent is comprehensively superhuman, isn't Unskilled, but Strong in comparison to the enemies you fight, has fought much more experienced, skilled and/or tougher enemies, can nullify your greatest asset, and has much more experience in combat. In a similar vein, Dante wins his match by nullifying Bayonetta's two greatest assets: 1: Quicksilver cancels out Witch Time, and 2: Wicked Weaves are just demons that Dante eats for breakfast. In Blanka vs. Pikachu, after the two spend some time brawling conventionally, Blanka takes advantage of his superior size and simply grabs Pikachu and bites his head off. Goku vs. Superman does a lot to deconstruct the idea of a reckless, at times stupid Blood Knight with the destructive power to level everything for miles around. Goku challenges Superman to a fight, to which Superman politely declines. When Goku attacks him anyway, an astounded Superman says "You're Insane!" Their resulting fight goes through repeated Serial Escalation as Goku goes through his Super Saiyan forms, with Superman matching him blow for blow, until the Earth explodes due to the backlash of their most powerful attacks. The second match ups the ante as Goku decides to haul out his Super Saiyan God form for their rematch. Superman? Decides enough's enough and tanks Goku's God Kamehameha, grabs him by the neck and uses both heat and x-ray vision to disintegrate his brain. In the afterlife, King Kai essentially tells Goku there's no way you can beat a character like Superman, getting the Saiyan to finally stand down. Using up all your energy in a flashy, powerful attack might look cool, but it'll backfire horribly if your opponent manages to survive it. Ryu, Tifa Lockhart, Ichigo, and Cloud all learned this the hard way. While Naruto also used one, Ichigo was in no shape to survive it. Red, as a Pokémon trainer, has always relied on his Pokémon to fight, a rule enforced by the rules of Pokémon battling / game mechanics. Tai, however, has been involved in fights before such as when he got into a fist-fight with his friend Matt while in the Digital World. While Tai doesn't have actual fighting training, he's still got more experience and is more willing to use it on Red, quickly disabling him. The above issue helped secure the win for the Digimon team. Since Charizard relies on Red to come up with a strategy, he's quickly overwhelmed when his trainer can't give him any assistance. Having a Super Mode is great... unless it only last a few minutes and is tied to external resources. Shadow loses to Vegeta and Mewtwo for these two reasons.. Having a Healing Factor is great, but it's useless if it can be heavily taxed. If one of the opponent's strongest attacks capitalizes on a crippling weaknesses and they can hit reliably with it, the one with said weakness is not going to last. Detective skills imply observation and memory, Times the world’s IRL greatest Detective fifty times and ya get Nightwing, who is arguably the world’s 2ND greatest Derective when written accurately, mostly though, he’s the world’s 3RD to 4TH which is still better than DD’s position anyway. Basically this means he’ll quickly superhumanly analyze you during the fight and he’s been shown to use this to take out SWAT teams and armies of Goons. Picking up their weaknesses and exploiting them, finding the weak link to pick off first cuz when you technically have no powers to rely on, especially as an 8 year old little kid. It’s learn this and master it at the superhuman level or you’re just dead, so even before he was 8, he had a near superhuman level of observation that acts quickly. So ye, this random encounter fight, he has to exploit DD’s weaknesses quickly or lose and Dick doesn’t like to lose.

The sense is like a big help but Spidey only beats Nightwing cuz of his physical advantage over him, with Nightwing being usually at his most powerful a 2 ton boy and Spidey being a whatever the flip ton boy the writer wants but at his weakest is maybe a 5 ton boy… Take away that and leave him with only his Spidey sense, he’d just be annoying af for Nightwing but Nightwing’s natural inborn talent would 10/10 him.
