Hi there! I've received many messages from you asking me to sing Shoemaker by Nightwish, so here it is! I love, love, LOVE this song! Especially the ending... I hope you'll like my version, as well. I did my best not to ruin their masterpiece. Let me know what you think about it!

I am Nightwish Fan for over 15 years, is my favorite band, I have heard the 3 singers, and is always hard to hear covers but you have done the work almost noone can and is here for all us to enjoy, there is no doubt you have an amazing voice.

For a long time my nightly wind down routine has been doing a sodoku or two to musical accompaniment on the iPad. Jane tends to listen to ‘stories’ with half an ear on the music. At least once a week this has been a Nightwish album or a Nightwish hits/compilation. Then last week... a flash of inspiration. I can combine my infatuation with Andra Ariadna with my love of Nightwish by simply going to the the Andra Ariadna homepage and selecting playlists, Nightwish covers. Job done. So I think Imaginaerum and Once will be the only full albums listened to anything like regularly. So last night shoemaker was just the PERFECT point to decide lights out and sleep.

I never thought I'd see someone cover this and actually sing the first half on tempo with that syncopated melody line like the original. Kudos. Must have taken a hell of a lot of practice, particularly combined with the speed and rapid pitch changes.

After a whole day with NO internet, I’ve just watched a cover of Shoemaker, by a woman whose name I gladly forget, followed by similar cover by silva black star. The you tube algorithm then suggests Nightwish, shoemaker, cover by Andra Ariadna. What a clever algorithm. Unfortunately web then drops out and no Andra Shoemaker appears. No idea if this comment will process, but my sanity demands I continue to try to get a fix of Andra shoemaker. If I can....... Laudato. Update five minutes later.... ANDRA IS SINGING. All is well with the world. Second update. Jane says Andra, a PROPER Shoemaker, Abi agrees. Three happy bunnies in our hotel room.
