@jeffk1482 Sure she has fun but sin only lasts a season and lives according to the world flesh and devil and she will go into the fires of hell unless she repents and becomes a Traditional Catholic. Outside the Roman Church, there is no salvation unless one is a baptized Catholic in a state of grace. Only baptized Catholic go to Heaven. Fr. Feeney was right. Baptism of desire is heresy.
Like. Imagine being a band with a stunning vocalist, and then the rest of the band can come in with incredible harmonization that manages to somehow elevate that vocalist, while still being strong in its own right. Goes to show this band is just suffused with sheer talent.
I get it, but in all honesty, Ann would be completely overshadowed and overpowered by Floor. Having seen Ann sing with Heart live just a few weeks ago, I will say that for age 70 she's amazing, but still, her voice is just a shadow of what it was just a few years ago. Interestingly, in concert when she did "Alone" she brought the tempo way down, almost like the way Floor does it.
@@fredmarks8089 Time catches up with us all. However I'm sure Floor would never overshadow or overpower Ann. It is just not her style when I have seen her guest with other artists and bands.
Marco too He's probably one of the best "second players" on rock bands all around the world A band with him on bass and backing vocal and Ian Paice on drums could fit any sort of musicians of any genre in the world They're both so genius on adapting their pace so the band stars can shine... it's awesome
And she makes it look so easy, like she dosnt even have to try.Floor could be sitting on a couch folding clothes or standing in front of 60000 metalheads, its just amazing
I really like it that Kai is so versatile, he plays a mean double bass but is obviously feeling very much at home supplying subtle percussion elements, too!
Floor's voice is just purely magical. Saw her live last year. She never fails to blow me away and amaze me. Neither does the rest of nightwish. Absolutely love EVERYTHING you release! Definitely my favorite band. Love you all!❤
Okay, this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard! Floor is simply perfect! When she sings together with Marco and Troy, the blending of their voices is, again, perfect. I would love to see Floor sing more songs by Heart. Her voice is perfect for those songs.
@@TerranigmaQuintet She no doubt has the technique, but that kind of vocals is damaging to her voice were she have to do that on a regular basis. And Nightwish already had that part covered, so she doesn't have to.
Patrick Fraley I was thinking the same thing. Almost anyone else said they were going to cover I would be like, no. You can't sing like Ann. With her I'm like, we're good.
@beth leinicke Well no kidding....Ann is 69 years old. The bottom line is, no one can touch what Ann did with this song when she was in her prime. Carrie Underwood was pretty damn good. Don't care for Celine's version. Kelly Clarkson just released a short version of it today which isn't bad.
Why do people love to compare? This is a cover and from where I see she has no intention to sing like Ann or be like her, but I think she is brave to sing this song and she does it brilliantly, especially cuz this is an extremely difficult song to sing.
That's right! I really love this rendition of Heart's song. I've been looking for many live videos from Heart playing this song, but I only found a recently acoustic version, but Ann no longer can't hit those high notes anymore, so I'm glad to see Floor doing it live.
@@carlosjj662 Ann lost that high pitch somewhere in the 80's but she's still has the touch, but at then end of the day it's not about who can sing higher or better than Ann Wilson because nobody can! It's about who can keep the candle lit and Floor is doing a pretty good damn job!
He is! He can also blend his tone with the lead so he doesn't dominate it - just like it supposed to be. But when the bvox needs to emphasize the main, he opens his voice slightly. Notice the last word "alone" on the chorus: he keeps it round at first but opens the vowels when needed - brilliant! And then, perfect synch on the vibrato w/ Floor. Example 3:36 (the long note at "youuuu"): if your vibrato isn't at the same phase with the lead, it sure will be out of tune, as the freq difference can be whole tone or something.
This is the reason why I love músic!!!!such a Nice performance,no egos, just a bunch of great musician to tributo one of the biggest band in the wold, mighty "Heart"
Simply amazing. I don't know if there are enough adjectives to describe the ability of this band to do anything. From big epics like Ghost Love Score and The Greatest Show on Earth to more intimate things like an acoustic cover of an arena rock band like Heart. Floorgasm on that high run she pulled off.
Check her out in Beste Zangers "Floor" Phantom of the Opera or any song there or Nightwish "Romanticide" 2013 Wacken. Every song in that concert is very special, mind blown.
After Forever's covers were amazing. First thing I ever heard Floor sing in my life was their cover of Who Wants to Live Forever by Queen (I was/am a huge Highlander fan) with Damien Wilson doing a duet with her. Then the B-flat in Monolith of Doubt from the same album (Decipher) gave me my first Floorgasm, circa 2002.
@@cancelled_user first she was in After Forever, but that band broke up in 2009 i think. Then she started ReVamp in 2010. Filled in for Nightwish in 2012, became a full member in late 2013. ReVamp never officially got disband, but ceased activities when she became too busy with Nightwish.
We love them, they are all so incredible musicians! And personalities also I think...But she's... No words...so far away from any other singer, totally from another dimension! (Try to) forget all the floorgasms, listen to this, and tell me ONE person on the planet who sings this song with such ease, like it's nothing. It's crazy😂
Nightwish really are blessed with three unique and complementary singers. Marko: Floor is my backup singer :) Troy: Um, hello ... you have heard Harvest, right?
Just realized this line up has zero original Nightwish members in it but still feels 100% Nightwish. Although this wasn't exactly a "Nigthwish" gig, they were just bunch of musicians playing together who just happen to all play in Nightwish. They are super great. Marco I've been a big fan for a long time and Floor is amazimg and Kai and Troy aren't too shabby either
At ProgPower USA 2007, the show closed out with an all star jam, and Floor took part in two of the best songs of that jam: a duet of Who Wants to Live Forever with Raph Scheepers (Primal Fear) and a cover of Heart's Alone. I'd love to see her take on both songs again in this format.
