From what I have heard Marko and Tarja will not perform together. But they will play at the same festival. But who knows, maybe they will surprise us.

Tarja asked for an encore with Marko and said we would expect it. She said it months ago in an interview. They will have the same concert(s) in August in Finland.

@@ANDZIGCREAM Yes, I saw the interview with him. It was an earlier conversation than the one with Tarja. Both of them were surprised by the poster that the promoters showed. Marko was talking more about that. And also that the management will definitely come up with the idea that they sing together. But Marko has no problem with Tarja. He said he would definitely catch up with her at the festival and they would chat. Tarja said in a later interview that she asked for an encore with Marko. The only people he might have a problem with are the management and promoters, as his disgust with the music industry was one of the reasons he left NW.

Everything could happend.. NW realising an album next year but no tour. Is Tuomas fed up with the band or what, no one knows? They will take a loooong break, or was the concert in Vaasa the end of NW. I’m so happy and grateful that I was in Kitee to see them 16.6 2023, pure magic to see them in there hometown were everything started 1996. In August I go back to Finland to se Marko Hietala and Tarja Turunens shows. Marko and Tarja have been talking together about the past, so they are fine, even if Marko was the mind behind getting rid of Tarja. In his book he wrote that Tarja wasn’t the problem it was her luggage(husband). So if Marko and Tarja could make peace, who knows what could happend. But between Tuomas and Tarja..Love hurts.

Ich liebe diese Dokumention, aber sie zeigt eine Sache die die Band im offenen Brief 2005 angesprochen hat, Tarja war nie mit der gesamten Band zusammen im Proberaum.

When Tuomas father died 2021, Tarja did phone him, and told him how sorry she was. Thats all contact they have had by phone. All the old business is done by Email. In an interview 2022 Tarja was asked if she could tour with Nightwish. If all members would apologise to her, she answered, thats hypothesis, only. She would not know until it really happened. Btw love all ur Nightwish reactions.

It was an e-mail, I don't think they ever spoke in person again. And the interviewers asked the question like that IF ALL MEMBERS APOLOGISED would she tour with them so they phrased that question like that first, just wanted to note that because she didnt mention that as a condition but she agreed

@@kazfarah7623 Well, she didn't quite agree. She said that there is no door closing them, that she is no longer that person, but that it is highly unlikely even if what the interviewers suggested happened - an apology from everyone. You are right that she did not give any such condition. And she wrote him sincere condolences, as you say. They didn't talk to each other then. It could change. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Short from this interview are still on YT, but writing a link here is to delete the comment.

@@annelisunden484 I think the last couple of years have been really hard for everyone. Tuomas losing his dad, losing Marko, and having pressure from doing the album, I get why he doesn't want to lock anything about the future. Though I really hope that he manages to make amazing album, and after the ease of that process he would love to get back touring. But it's frightening because could he really top the previous work with the new album. I mean the pressure must be just of the charts. I hope that if Nightwish finally ends, that they would do some special concert somewhere and get all the previous band members doing at least one song each. Even if they would have to pay for a lot to get them enough time to practice. It's fantasy, but the it would be the perfect ending, reconciliation between everyone, agreeing that the legacy of the music is above all else. I would pay just ridiculous amounts to get into that concert. One massive stadium concert that would be like lighting a beacon of hope to the world. I'll keep this fantasy no matter how naive it is :)
