Great version of a vastly underrated and underplayed song. They (Nightwish) need to put this back in the live setlist.

That's the problem if a bands repertoire includes a number of songs longer than 10 minutes; Having multiple of them on the setlist cuts into the number of songs you can do in total.

@@rockyblacksmith They used to have it in the setlist...but they would do it where they did the first half of Elvenpath, and then bring in Fantasmic during the lull in the middle. It actually worked REALLY well as a transition.

@@technewsfortechnoobs That part was great. Also you can consider Fantasmic three songs. I am sure that they could find a place in their concerts for all three parts.

@@dorstefan yeah....like, I still think the show they did many many years ago on the From Wishes to Eternity DVD was a great way to do it...Start off with Elvenpath, and then go into t he last part of Fantasmic. It was a beautiful transition.

Up until Ghost Love Score, I'd argue this was Nightwish's most epic song. Their entire album this song came from, Wishmaster, is one of the best ever recorded imo.

That seems like such a difficult song to sing. Huge kudos, to everyone. I mean it all looks terribly difficult, but the keyboard and vocals in particular seem hellish. Awesome. Hope I get that good some day

Great collaboration! Did a few myself too, not with a complete band tho, but always lots of fun and work to sync up all the material ;) To me Fantasmic is one of Nightwish' magnum opus tracks in the line of GLS, tPatP and tGSoE \m/
