NIGHTWISH - Lanternlight REACTION | BEST BRING THE TISSUES! 😭😭😭 

This is another Tuomas Holopainen masterpiece. He only keeps on getting better as his talent and vision matures. Absolutely stunning. Who else writes and composes like this? This composition is as deep as the Marianas Trench and has more layers than a baklava. I'm 73 and I am the last man standing in my family. I understand the loss, yet I still live with hope and intent. Nevertheless, Floor's voice and this composition is akin to an emotional depth charge to the heart. Her face, good Lord, her beautiful face so expressive and adorned with nothing save her heart and soul just melts me to my core. Some of you get it. Some of you don't. I do, and that's all that matters. Kiitos to all of you in Nightwish for delivering such epic and emotional story telling.

Beautiful song! Floor has Nightwish covers in her solo shows, and I wouldn't be surprised if this makes it to the setlist at some point. I don't know if she'd perform it before Nightwish had a chance to perform it, though. Especially since it's a very personal song for Tuomas.

Some days ago SHE had an interview and they were talking about emotions during singing I think...... There SHE confessed that SHE started crying during the takes of that song !!!!!!! I personally cant listen to it whilst driving ....too dangerous....... The GODDESS gets me every time SHE wants to........ No one else is able to implant such emotions to my soul than SHE does......

I agree with you about hearing Floor's lower vocals - always a joy. I especially love that screen we see behind her. I think that makes this even more emotional. (If you haven't heard the full album yet, you're in for an experience, rest assured.♥️)

I'm a grizzled old headbanger, 58 years old, been listening to Motorhead, Maiden, Priest, Sabbath etc for most of my life - but only Nightwish can do this to me, only they can produce such beauty.

I have always thought that I was meant to be alive for a purpose, as when I was 22 years old, a Semi-Truck ran a red light and hit my pickup truck on the drivers side and destroyed my pickup truck. I spun more times than I can recall. The next thing I remember is helping a young woman, who was gripping her stearing wheel so hard, and crying, saying she just saw someone die. I comforted her and told her, "" I am ok." I then told her to go park her car and then I walked her into the nearby restaurant. She was holding me tight as we entered, and the waitress said she call the police and asked for an ambulance. I told her that I didn't need an ambulance, that I was ok! After the police interviewed me, one of the officers went and looked at what was left of my truck, and he commented that he had no idea how I managed to not get injured at all. There was no room in the cabin as everything was demolished...as I am 6'6" and about 280lbs. That moment changed my outlook on life.
