Emppu is great. He wanders around the stage doing his own thing, amusing the crowd and at the same time delivering scalpel-precise rhythm guitar, and the occasional blistering solo - always just what is wanted, and no self-indulgence.

I came here after reading Marko's resignation. I hope he can find his Walden. I wish him the best...health is above entertainment. I will miss him so much but I fully support his decision This band is so magical and what the world needs, hope you can continue even though a piece is missing 💕

@@chadbennett7873 It is because he knows how much he and the band are appreciated, that he quit. The music industry, like pretty much every industry, is a sasspool and a crushing hamster wheel for artists. As long as they deliver and are loved by the fans, they're of use for the labels, cause then they can milk the fanbase off their money with an infinite ammount of merchandise, festivals and whatnot. The actual art get's reduced to a mere tool and actual genius is often enough discarded or dulled, when it doesn't seem profitable enough. I loved Marco in the band, I love his playing and his voice and genuinely enjoy the work he's done, but above all I truly admire his bravery and integrity to break the wheel for him, even though he could have had an easy life wealth-wise, if he'd abanonded his morals.

Take a minute to appreciate how awesome Troy is, Floor's integration into the band tends to overshadow (understandably) how much of a good decision it was to make Troy a permanent member too!

definitely instruments were recorded from mixer not from camera, thats why result is so good. But Im sure live sound was awesome too)

I just "found" Nightwish this year and it has really helped me get through my tough times - After a bad day, nothing gets the blood pumping like watching these amazing videos and having my cares melt away. Each of the 3 singers have their videos to shine in and it really shows the growth and breadth of this band - here's to many more magical Nightwish moments!!

@@erwinjohannarndt4166 I'm 51 Years old and found NW first on a promo CD for the Rock Hard Mega zine. It was Stargazer and after a couple of weeks later I bought the Oceanborn! And in this year see them for the first time at Wacken! And I think so too, every effort got his moments, but my favorite is still Oceanborn! Have a nice weekend and stay healthy!

Tuomas Holopainen is a genius. I can't believe that I ignored Nightwish for over 15 years. I knew about them but I prefered Within Temptation, Theatre of Tragedy, and Lacuna Coil for whatever reason. I just realized 5 days ago, when I stumbled over GLS @ Wacken 2013, what I have been missing and since then I'm doing nothing else but trying to catch up. Just eating, sleeping and listening to Nightwish up and down the internet the rest of the day. Their music is so freaking versatile, and My Walden - gosh! - how can't ALL these ppl in the crowd dance like crazy? This song is fantastic, so lively, so enthralling. I'm stunned.

I get it. Honestly. Sharon is a queen. The combo of Liv Kristine's vocals and ToT's eerie sounds was amazing. Cristina's voice on Swamped and Our Truth made me think those were the best metal songs ever. I love Simone Simmons' powerful operatic voice in Epica and Anneke's in The Gathering. But, eventually, Nightwish just feels like home, regardless of their lead singer.

You never tuned into Epica? You should try Rivers by them and go from there. Floor has from time to time been a guest performer in their shows. Like within Temptation and Floor they are a Dutch symphonic band.

From 2:59 to 3:40 was literally out of universe and extraterrestrial. And it is just because of the Marco the cool guy. It is true that magic happens when our cool mate Marko plays acoustic. That bold intro from Troy was majestic and precious too. The overall brain Tuomas is always a genius. Empu and Kai love you guyz. And then comes Floor - ALL I WANT TO SAY, I cry every time when I see you and hear your voice. You are a blessing beloved metal queen. Best thing ever happened to Nightwish.

I think the only reason why people say the "old songs are better" is because they're nostalgic. Purely from a composition and variety standpoint their newer albums are better, and their newest is the best. Getting Troy and Floor in the band was a stroke of genius.

They use backin tracks so maybe base when Marco has to sing a lot. They do a lot more singing live since Floor/Troy joined so marco is multitasking.

The really interesting thing about this live version is the three ( Troy, Marc and the other one , you know the female ...just kidding) got to sing a verse properly and showed just how well balanced the vocal landscape is for Nightwish now. Marco can carry a vocal line superbly, Troy weaves his superb folk voice over the music and then Floor just ties everything together, and though you are thinking, this can't get better,... and it does. This band is magic. I am in my late 60's. I have been listening to music since I was very young and played Rock , folk, and even punk and no band in all that time has been able to effect like this one does. I had stopped listening to music and these guys bought me back. I would walk over broken glass to listen to Floor and the rest of the band just makes it completely breathtaking

I just love in so many videos of yours I see you guys showing each other how much you care for each other. Pats on the back, little show of affection showing how close you are as a band. Having little conversations with each other to giving a parched guitar player a drink while he's playing. You don't see that in American bands.

All the love and appreciation for each other gives the concerts a warm, harmonic feel. They have fantastic chemistry so the music is tighter as a result. The show might go on but if band mates can't stand each other the audience can feel it. It can be really uncomfortable, even if they are acting civil. Its commonly a problem when bands are formed to make money instead of music

And if you have studied the history from Nightwish, that is why they got rid of Tarja Turunen. She was saying that she could ditch and leave the band with in the days notice. One other thing Tarja did say is that she would not tour in Argentina or America ever again. And one time time they were almost forced to cancel the gig in the Oslo because of Tarja. So the decision to fire Tarja was a group decision. I do not know if that was the case. So the Tarja does not seem a team player like Floor and was acting like diva.

I'm really enjoying these clips now almost as much as I enjoyed being there myself. I haven't seen the final release yet, but I think they did not do too good in capturing the energy of the audience - I mean, we do see many shots of the audience here, but it feels weird to not hear them at all when you're still looking at them. Of course the Finnish audience was not over the top loud but we were definitely not this quiet. But I'll wait until I get my own copy on blu-ray and in any case I'm really looking forward to living the experience again.

Oh my God, Markko was/is a musical wizard by his own right! For a (known) bassist, he can muster up so good tunes from a double-neck, too. And his singing voice... Hope Nightwish can find somebody as good again.

On this song anyway. He also got lost in the clouds. He was right next to the fogging machine. Hw was completely enveloped when he began talking. I wish he would be in more songs, even as backing vocal.

That was a powerful and magical show from Nightwish. The Vehicle Of Spirit DVD/Blu-ray Editions so beautiful (especially the Earbook Edition with so many photos). The Wembley Arena and the Tampere Show so awesome and pure magic. Great songs from the Endless Forms Most Beautiful Tour and some golden oldie Nightwish songs with many-many extras. Floor rules the full stage with full of energy, with dancing moves, small theatrical gestures and communication with the audience. This woman is a pure magic and gift for humanity. And that singing and voice. Just wow. Powerful and beautiful performance. I'm truly amazed every single time. Floor have a beautiful heart and soul! I love this woman. Her voice, performance, femininity, presence, style... all of them! I really hope Floor will singing for so many years for us (and Nightwish too). Floor deserve every support, love, appreciation and respect! I hope one day I meet with her and we can talk a little bit (and thank her for everything includes the After Forever/ReVamp era). Really can't wait the new Nightwish DVD/Blu-ray (Decades Live) release this year! :)

Nothing like a bit of Welsh singing! "Sain y niwl" ..Sound of the mist. "Gwynt y goedwig fwsog" ..Smell of the mossy forest "Gwenithfaen, cen y coed, ar lleuad" ..Granite under trees and moon. Hopefully we will hear some more soon!

I've known about Nightwish for a few years, but didn't get into them until recently. I listened to all of EFMB and this is one of my favorite songs from the album. Terrific performance here where all of the band members seemed to have fun on stage!

The sound here is fantastic! I was a bit afraid after watching trailers that VoS may be cursed with bad mixed audio but they fixed it, they really did! Bass, Troy, vocals... I can hear all this vivid whole of their fair beauty; honest music of life which makes me wanna jump and just be happy because of the sky, seas and rivers, and mountains, because of the clear picture of golden sunshine spots dancing on the grass, running through green summer leafs of giant oaks... I might have gone too far in this romantic mood and all this poetry this time but I can't help it, having in my mind their last gig in Poland and last album which was perfect! Floor is the right element who makes band proper whole! :)
