I know a lot of people think of ships. But personally Concorde springs to mind, elegant and perfect, yet slightly tragic and sad. I honestly get sad when people say "oh Concorde was dangerous" she wasn't. She pushed the limits, yes but she wasn't inherently flawed. 2 accidents in 30 years ain't bad.
