This - this is why the Nightwish Army exists. As you experienced yourself - the song makes you think - deep. Yes - this is a concept album called "Endless forms most beautiful" - Dawkins said it. All the songs have a red line to the evolution, from this 'overall conclusion' to intense stories of how humans feels, imagine, dreams, evolutionary stories etc etc. The world tour also included other songs deepening the red line - like another masterpiece" The Poet and the Pendulum" (Wembley 2015) - a tour through a deep personal depression - showing the the depth of our minds. ** Man trying to understand a single grain of sand: If you take all the sand grain on earth, including the ones in the seas - all of them - the amount of stars in the universe is far far bigger. And we are just trying to under 1 planet, circling round 1 star... Perspective! *** The song, singing, lyrics, use of instruments - all are referring to the evolution. The musical evolution were there from tribal drumming, a piece of Bach, Metallica - Floor's singing styles from opera, speaking to everthing else. All the pictures shown near the end were pictures of missing people, of which some now were recognized and found. This song is in so many layers - but you already discovered that. And please be honest - did it feel like 20 minutes long? - 20 minutes short is closer... This is what Nightwish are able to perform - this is music on another level, because it is deep. All their stories have a point or a deeper thought - but they are all written so we individually can interpret the songs, from our own experiences, way of thinking, and also moods have an influence of how we "digest" the songs. Tuomas is a genuine genius, otherwise he couldn't write like this. And Floor's abilities to become the songs and express passion and emotions, not only by singing techniques, but by using her whole body to express and illustrate - she is unique. And so is the rest of the band. You just take a deep breath and jump into the Nightwish Universe. We will be there to help you, the best we can - but you will be addicted - and a Nightwish Army member. *** By the way - their newest album "Human Nature" - is a direct follow up on The Greatest Show on Earth - which was the final song on Endless forms most beautiful. Nightwish is storytelling on another level - a level you don't have in North America - you can't tell stories like this in 3 - 4 minutes - that's why you don't hear and have Symphonic Metal over there. Your money driven and controlled music industry won't allow it.. Luckily there are other options. * And a great great reaction from you - I really believe you opened a door a got inspired. I would recommend: 1. Sleeping Sun, Tampere 2015 version. (ballad) 2. Dead Boy's Poem from Buenos Aires 2018 (power ballad) 3. The Poet and the Pendulum, Wembley 2015. (incredible masterpiece) - but a tuff one...

Thank you Kim for the great insight and explanation! I appreciate you taking the time. Yes, it was very deep and I was so moved by the entire performance. I love Dramatic theatre, unique and just being Entertained...The music Industry here is just aweful indeed! Anyway, I am trying to decide what to do next, many are offering "Storytime" as a good one after TGSOE. I was instructed that I should wait until a little deeper into the band, before "The Poet and the Pendulum". So, maybe I can get it done after Christmas! Oh, Cheers and Welcome to the Lounge!

The astonishing thing is, these lyrics were written by Tuomas whose first language is Finnish and yet most English speakers will need a dictionary to understand them. So here goes. The song tells the history of Earth starting with the formation of the solar system. The planets being "newborns" orbiting the "fire" (the sun). One of the "lonely farers" was in the "Goldilocks zone" a distance from the sun which, like Goldilocks's porage, was neither too hot or too cold, allowing water to exist in the liquid form, which allows life to exist. The geological timescale of the Earth is split into Eons (as opposed to "aeons" which simply means a very long time). The second son was the Archean, beginning when Earth (or Gaia) was pristine, but subject to meteor storms that introduced many chemicals (probably water and maybe carbon) to the planet's surface. Eons are divided geologically into Eras, which are divided into periods - you've probably heard of the Jurassic period. The Devonian period is mentioned in the song. Scion simply means descendant, so we are ancestors of what is yet to come and descended from that first fish that evolved lungs and left the ocean. (Strictly speaking we can trace back a lot further to the Ediacaran period but the first amphibian is perfect for the song). The key to the song, I believe, is the line Marko sings - Not a single one of your father's died young. So many creatures die before passing their genes on to another generation, but for us, for over a billion years since LUCA, the last universal common ancestor, there is an unbroken line of creatures that were able to breed before they died.

Little Lucy was our oldest bi pedal descendant. Australopithecus. Enter ratkind, after humans are gone rats could be the next dominant species evolving. When they are making ape sounds and floor sings it could be a siren calling the apes down from the trees to eventually evolve.

The instrument that puzzled you is an Irish bagpipe, called Uillean pipes, or "pipes of the elbow" because they're inflated not by blowing into them but with bellows under the right elbow. Troy Donockley, the band member who plays that, is an English multi-instrumentalist, he uses many traditional Celtic instruments as well as modern instruments (it was him playing at the beginning the electric guitar with an e-bow).
@grantharriman284

Multi-instrumentalist? I think Omni-instrumentalist is more accurate. I have come to doubt there is any instrument that man can't play.

After I saw this for the first time nearly 2 years ago, someone posted this breakdown of the 5 parts in a comment which I saved: The Greatest Show on Earth is about the history of Earth and life itself. It has 5 sections: 1. Four Point Six (ends with the first spoken part by Richard Dawkins) - Earth as an empty planet, all rocks, lava etc. and the first life, the title refers to the estimated age of Earth, 4.6 billion years. 2. Life (begins when the guitars kick in, ends with the break after the drum solo) - evolution and life, references to LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor), the Devonian era (also known as the Age of Fish, when amphibians started evolving to go on land), the Goldilock Zone (the ideal distance from the Sun, which allows water to exist in a liquid state) etc. 3. The Toolmaker (starts with Floor's high notes and the primate grunting, ends with the "We were here" segment) - humans enter the stage, references to Lucy (the primate that seems to be our earliest ancestor), migration out of Africa, atomic bombs etc. and there are musical snippets from other musicians and composers, such as Bach, Mozart and Metallica (just before the second chorus you can hear the riff from Enter Sandman) 4. The Understanding (the two spoken parts during the outro of the show) - quotes by UNWEAVING THE RAINBOW by Richard Dawkins and ON THE ORIGIN OF THE SPECIES by Charles Darwin, narrated by Dawkins. 5. Sea Worn Driftwood - not that present here, but it is the soundscape after the last spoken part, with animal and ocean sounds to play it out.

Wow you went for their ultimate work on your second NW song! This is Tuomas Holopainen's (the keyboard player) composition as is almost all of their work. It is his ode to Earth, its creation, and the evolution of mankind. You'll find that, as enjoyable and upbeat as most of their music is, there's also a tremendous amount of content in the lyrics and production. Wait until you hear Shoemaker from the newest album. It's a paean to Eugene Shoemaker, the father of planetary geology and the only person to be buried on the Moon (his ashes were taken there.)

I've heard that name before- Eugene Shoemaker...Here in the comments somewhere. I thought it was about another song, but maybe it was this...Anway, I had no idea what I was in for! Didn't even realize how long it was until I started. Thought for a second that maybe I should do a different song, but I am so glad that I stuck with it! Wow! Thanks for your comment.

@@craigramsay53 well there is the live version that they performed during their online show back in May, and it's just as good if not better than the album version - but unfortunately that recording is not publicly available right now. It will be once they release the DVD of that performance. There is no timeframe for that release yet though.

@@stamasd8500 yeah I've seen it here on YT (plus I was on for both of the shows the 28th and 29th) but I haven't been mentioning those as NW was pretty adamant at the beginning about unauthorised use. NW DID release the whole show through an online service today BUT it's only available in the Scandinavian countries so far. AND I completely agree with how good the Islander Arms version is. Thanks!

@@TheSpeakEasyLounge Besides Eugene Shoemaker, Nightwish has also a song about Carl Sagan and quite often the subject of the lyrics of their songs have some "sciency" stuff. That has lead to the mutual tributes for them also from the some members of science community. For example there is a newly dicovered fungus gnat named after Tuomas Holopainen called _Sciophila_ _holopaineni,_ a beetle named after Floor Jansen _Tmesisternus_ _floorjanseni_ and a crab specie _Tanidromites_ _nightwishorum._ There is also a pre-historic rockshelter named after their song "Alpenglow", called as Alpenglow Rockshelter in Pennsylvania. "Alpenglow" is an optical phenomenon happening in dawn or dusk which illuminates mountains in pinkish tint, that same phenomenon also gives clouds their tint during those times. EDIT: There is actually also another specie named after Floor Jansen, _Ophiomitrella_ _floorae,_ a fossil specie of brittle star from Cretaceous era.

Tis is off of the album called "Endless Forms Most Beautiful". Tis is not a Concept album pie say but the entire album was inspired by Ricard Dawkins (the man speaking at the end). He is a rater famous and controversial biologist and a strong Atheiest. The record is inspired by Richards book "Unweaving The Rainbow: Science, Delusion and the appetite for wonder". The spoken text in the begging of the song is from Richards work as is the spoken text "We are going to die". The section that Richard physically speaks at the end it from text by Charles Darwin an in it is where the tile of the album came from. This is why the audience cheered after he said Endless Forms most Beautiful.

Don’t mind you going back and playing it over and over again! I am a Old Metal Rock Head and fan of Nightwish for over 20 years. Your not going down a rabbit hole but a worm hole. Nightwish has a very deep catalog. Their Albums are Masterpieces of which 95% of the compositions are created by Thomas ( Toumas) the keyboardists sometimes referred to as The Metal Mozart. The Greatest Show on Earth Tempere is my favorite version because it shows the magic of Nightwish because they not only enjoy what they are doing on stage musically but from the fans and their crew they want to acknowledge that everyone helps to create the magic of Nightwish. That’s why the Nightwish Army is so kind and passionate about trying to guide you along the long journey & march exploring this band. Checking out the Tempere version of The Greatest Show On Earth on your channel I and the Nightwish army would not mind because my mantra for listening to this band and has kept me sane is: “MY FAVORITE NIGHTWISH SONG IS ALWAYS THE LAST ONE I LISTENED TO!” I would check out Wacken ( the same show you experienced Ghost Love Score), starting with Dark Chest of Wonders, ( start of show) Storytime, Romanticide Everdream or anyone of the songs in the 15 song set. ( Ghost Love Score was the 13th). Good luck on your journey. Happy Holidays! Rock On Stay Safe!🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

We can spend days going over the lyrics and commenting on their meaning. The Greatest Show On Earth refers to Evolution itself. It is a term taken from proffessor Dawkins' book under the same title. Dawkins is the voice narrating all the parts and also doing the cameo at the end. This song is a work of art: from the beardth and depth of the lyrical content to the flawless musical and vocal execution. These are world-class musicians and vocalists at the top of their game. You litteraily can listen to this 100 times and every time you will pick up something new that you didnt the last time around. Going into a song like this without any prior leg work and background knowledge really robs you from the full experience. Thank you for your reaction though, I enjoyed it.

Now you will surely have a better understanding of why we love this band and its members. The band’s last two albums have sort of been science albums. After all, both Tuomas and Floor were very interested in biology during their school days. Tuomas even started his university studies (he had less than 6 months to study), but music took him ... Maybe the world lost a great scientist in him, but we've had great music for 25 years. Nightwish has also achieved something in the field of science that many other bands don’t. For their new album (released in April 2020), Nightwish was allowed to shoot promo images at the Natural History Museum in London. They were given 4 hours to be “alone” throughout the museum taking pictures. No other band has ever received a similar permission. But also the other way around, according to Nightwish, various things have been named as well. / And that 2015 album of them made a deep impression on many scientists. And this has led to the following: I will quote a few points from Wikipedia here: 1. "A new insect species, Sciophilia holopaineni, discovered by a Finnish biologist named Jukka Salmela of Metsähallitus Parks & Wildlife, has been named after Tuomas Holopainen, because of Holopainen's love for nature." (2017) 2. "In 2018, a new species of beetle was discovered by scientist Andreas Weigel. It was named after Jansen, dubbing it Tmesisternus floorjansenae." 3. "On July 10, 2020, a new crab species, the Tanidromites nightwishorum which was discovered by curator of palaentology, Dr Adiel A. Klompmaker of the Alabama Museum of Natural History, was named in honor of the band in particular for their 2015 album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful." 4. On August 12, 2020, a prehistoric rockshelter, called the Alpenglow Rockshelter that was discovered in Pennsylvania, USA was, too, named for Nightwish, particularly in honor of their ninth track, Alpenglow, from their 2015 album. Quite an achievement for one band! A short interview with Richard Dawkins immediately after the concert. About 1 minute. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rDLgBipPQtM.html

Don't worry, you got it just about right. The Greatest Show on Earth is the Evolution, which opens every day around us. The quotes are from Richard Dawkins's book "The Greatest Show on Earth" and Charles Darwin's book "The Origin of Species". Dawkins is well known evolutionbiologist and writer. Nightwish released 2015 the album "Endless Forms Most Beautiful", where this Mammoth song is the closing track. There's no other bands on Earth than Nightwish, who can or want do something like this. This sold out Wembley Arena 2015 performance is an excellent one, but as a patriotic Finn i prefer a little the more epic Tampere 2015 open air version. You did it well, thank you! ⛄👍

The final speech given by Richard Dawkins was a quote from Charles Darwin whereas the previous two recorded statements were his own quotes. The reason that the crowd cheer when he says " Endless Forms Most Beautiful" is because that is their album title. The lyrics and music were written by Tuomas, the keyboard player, as he writes over 90% of the songs and English isn't his first language.

So you now have heard two of the three big masterpieces of Nightwish. Good job getting the meaning of the song. The pipes you saw Troy playing are Uilleann Pipes also known as Irish bagpipes. Others here have done a good job describing the meaning of the song and where it comes from. Fore more Nightwish I recommend Shoemaker from their Human Nature album and Dead Boy's Poem from the Decades tour in Buenos Aries. Both dramatic with poetic lyrics and amazing performances. For some other theatrical songs checkout Phantom of the Opera both the End of an Era concert with their first singer Tarja Turunen and Floor's version with Henk Poort on the Dutch TV show Beste Zangers and then Dangerous Game from Jekyl and Hyde on Floor's YT channel. For more epic symphonic metal checkout Epica. Recommend Kingdom of Heaven, Part 3 from their Omega Alive livestream concert.

The often missed item that always strikes me is the rapt attention given by a Heavy Metal audience to an intellectual evolutionary biologist which is a tribute both to Richard Dawkins himself but also to the way in which Nightwish packaged his work into a consumable form. The whole album was inspired by Dawkins writing which includes the spoken piece you liked so much. Have a listen to more from the ‘Endless forms most beautiful album’ and indeed the following album ‘HumanIINature’ which focuses more on the relationship between man and nature. This is brilliant rock music but with some messages that really make you think.

The greatest show on Earth is the evolution of life, starting with the calm quiet of the beginning, then we hear "explosions" that symbolize the Big Bang, then the Universe starts to take shape. There are a lot of metaphors in the lyrics. My favorite one is "The cosmic law of gravity pulled the newborns around the fire" which talks about the formation of our solar system. Gravity pulls the planets (newborns) around the Sun (fire). All is fine and dandy until humans appear. They are curious, wanting to understand a single grain of sand, give birth to poetry and music but are also artisans of their own destruction. All we can say is that we are lucky we were here. When they sing that at the end it always makes me cry.

New subscriber here! This is pretty much the best reaction vid I've seen yet (and I'm subbed to about 200 channels!). You indeed got the gist of it very well. It isn't associated with any movies or back stories. It is just the nonstop genius that flows from the mind of the keyboardist, Tuomas Holopainen (TWO-oh-moss HOLLOW-pine-nen). It is especially surprising for most of us Americans because we have no points of reference in our experience given the tripe we have shoved at us here, 90% of which is no-talent garbage. As some other commenters have suggested, you would also enjoy seeing the version at Ratina Stadion in Tampere, Finland. Being an open-air venue, the booming explosions during the intro are rendered with precision-timed, high altitude airburst fireworks behind the stage clamshell. Many fans mistake this part of the song to be representing the Big Bang. But it is not. The title of this movement is "4.6", meaning 4.6 billion years ago. It is representing the bombardment phase accretion period of the Earth. If it were the Big Bang, the title would be "13.6". The lyrics are definitely a science lesson. A while ago I put together this little glossary to cover some of the obscure terminology. (I'm a retired scientist, so I eat this stuff up like a nerd!) Hope this helps: Archean horizons - A term from geology referring to the rocks of the Archeozoic Period of the PreCambrian Era. The spoken-word portions are narrations by Professor Richard Dawkins, evolutionary biologist from Oxford University. He held the Oxford Chair for Public Understanding of Science from 1995 to 2008. The excerpts are from his book. At the Wembley performance, he appeared on stage with Nightwish to speak the narrations. Pristine Gaia - Gaia was the ancient Greek goddess of the Earth, now often used to refer to the primordial ecosystem when all the continents were joined. Opus perfectum - Obviously Latin for "a perfect composition" or creation. Goldilocks Zone - A semi-formal term used by astrophysicists to describe the stable orbital zones around any star which are "not too hot, not too cold, but juuuust right" for the existence of liquid water, based on their diameter, heat and luminosity output, and radiation field. Obviously this refers to the region where a planet's environment is suitable for the development of life. LUCA - LUCA is an acronym for a formal term used by evolutionary biologists that stands for "Last Universal Common Ancestor." It is the most recent population group of organisms which shared common ancestry with every currently surviving species on Earth. Devonian - A geology term pertaining to the portion of the Paleozoic Era dominated by ocean fish, prior to the advent of amphibians and reptiles. Aeons - Aeons is just a fancy, ancient spelling of "eons," vast periods of time. Ion channels - A term used in biology and medicine to refer to the osmotic pressure balance maintained across cell walls by the relative concentrations of various metal ions in aqueous solution, usually sodium and potassium. The opening or closing of transport pathways through the cell walls for certain molecules, mediated by the ion balance, are called "ion channels." Thus, the "magic" of life is permitted to exist because the exquisite balancing of ion concentrations on each side of the membrane either open the channel and allow entry of molecules necessary for life or close the channel to exclude other molecules. Little Lucy of the Afars - Refers to the fossil remnants of the female dubbed "Lucy," found in the region of Africa that was known, in ancient times, as "The Territory of Isis and Afars" (nothing to do with the modern day meaning of that term "Isis") now roughly corresponding to the countries of Somalia and Djibouti. Lucy is believed to be the single known example of the common humanoid ancestor that spawned homo sapiens, Neanderthals, and Cro Magnons. ...And the Geico Caveman. LOL Ionia - Ancient Greece, often credited as the birthplace of modern scientific thought, logic, and learning. So, when Marco sings, "Enter Ionia" it is not saying that some person "enters" the City-State of Ionia. Rather, it is introducing the scene in the Greatest Show where the City-State of Ionia itself "enters" the world stage of history. Yes, Tuomas Holopainen is a deep thinker. And exceptionally intelligent. Much of symphonic metal in general, and Nightwish most specifically, is for fellow deep thinkers. That's why we dedicated fans love them so much. It is such a breath of fresh air to have great bands that are actually intelligent, sophisticated, consummate professionals when contrasted against the air-headed, fluffy crap babbled at us by overpaid spoiled brats that we are fed by the dysfunctional "entertainment" industry we suffer under here in the U.S. I had the honor of meeting these six Nightwish people in person in Miami last year, and they are just as nice, personable, and professional in person as they appear in interviews. Not a single diva among them! :D -----Cheers!

Floor and Tuomas (the keyboard player who writes most of the music and lyrics), are science nerds. Tuomas wrote this piece based on the book The Greatest Show On Earth: The Evidence For Evolution by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, who does the spoken word parts of the song, and appears at the end of this performance. The song covers the formation of the universe, the Earth, the evolution of life, and the rise (and eventual fall) of mankind. The instrument Troy is playing is an Irish form of bagpipe, called Uilleann pipes.

Hello I have some info on Floor Jansen for you here. She is married to Hannes Van Dahl, drummer of the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Together they have a daughter. ( Freja ) Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 4 octaves (Eb2 to F6). Re-singing style ranges from opera to screams and grunts. She usually sings in English, in addition she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish. Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she gave singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016. From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. Nightwish's second studio album with Jansen as front singer, Human. :II: Nature., was released in April 2020. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Excellent reaction to, in my opinion, the greatest composition of our lifetime. Being as how it is a definitive story of evolution from pre-Big Bang to the death of humankind, the lyrics reflect scientific terms. For example: The Goldilocks zone is a place in a solar system where life can exist. "Lonely farer in the Goldilocks Zone" refers to Planet Earth, the only planet in our Solar System which we know sustains life as we know it. LUCA refers to Last Universal Common Ancestor, the origin of all creatures on the planet. And so forth with the other terms ... The deeper you dig into the lyrics, the more you will understand that this incredible masterpiece is pure genius. The book on which this is based is also a work of art. You will also hear snips of Bach's Minuet in G and Metallica's Enter Sandman (both influences on Tuomas). The recorded recitations from his book "The Greatest Show on Earth" was by Dawkins. The very last paragraph recited by Richard Dawkins is the very last paragraph of "The Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin. So very glad you enjoyed it.

You've got that right the part of the earth but in the beginnig of this song you hear the big bang (version of Tampere they use fireworks) and Floor sang about the carbon feast it is all about the evolution, half way marco growls and that is where humans began to rule the world and at the and you can hear the evelution of music....first you hear some tribes than a peace of bach after that a rif of Metallica's enter sandman and right afer that som EDM all the songs of Nightwish al well thought out and there is a reason why they call Thuomas the Metal Mozart grteat reaction btw and greetings from the Netherlands

There are plenty of scientific terms within the lyrics. I just grap a few, like Devonian Sea are the oceans in that warmer Earth Age called Devon. The Goldilocks zones define a temperature belt around suns, neither too close, nor too far away, that enables water to be fluid, so life could happen on planets within that zone, if there is water...Earth is within the Goldilocks zone of its sun of course. The term LUCA means Last Universal Common Ancestor. Africa ought to be the craddle of mankind, so the traveller out of Africa should be Homo sapiens or its ancestors, etc. So the first part is about evolution of life in general, the second part deals with evolution of mankind, the corona of life or its demise if ye like.

Great reaction, pity the fans who asked you to react to this, didn’t ask you to read a little bit about what it’s about..if you like poetry, try “dead boys poem “ it’s a bit of a softer song, with beautiful lyrics! All nightwish’s songs have beautiful lyrics by the way😁

Hi Anita- I don't like to read about artists/songs before I react, I don't want any spoilers or to form opinions beforehand. I prefer the surprise. I get all the info I need from you guys! It is amazing the knowledge and great music taste we have here from everyone in the Lounge...lol. So glad you're here! Cheers!

@@TheSpeakEasyLounge If you prefer the surprise, then please DON'T people talk you into doing song Poet and Pendullum too soon... that way, you get few facts about the "development" of the group within time by a natural way, just reading ppl's comments... and when you finally do it (i hope you do, one day!), please use the version with embedded lyrics...

Thank you for the info. I know a little, the basics of the meaning of the song, but I will not do it before I feel ready! Would you mind sharing the link to the best version? Cheers!

It is Nightwish and especially Tuomas' tribute to evolution, inspired by evolutionary theorist Richard Dawkins. Evolution (the greatest show on earth), put into music 🙂

One of the reasons I like Nightwish's music is the way the songs all have a story to them. This one is about the history of Earth, from the big bang and on through the rise of simple life, the coming of our ancestors (Lucy), the rise of religion and story telling, the search for knowledge and science, the rise of industry and it's negative effects on the earth, and the inevitable end of humankind on the planet.

I was really blown away by it all. The Richard Dawkins part was the icing on the cake for me. Even though I don't agree with all of his theories, he has such a poetic sensibility and his accent? I could listen to him read the phone book! LOL. Cheers!

The Greatest Show on Earth is ... The evolution of humanity and how small we really are. This is why Floor says; "We were HERE!!" Telling the Universe that humans existed on this planet. Life existed on this planet.

They simply tell the story of how the Earth and life evolved from the beginning to the end in a distant future. The line "We were here" is incredible powerful.

Originally Floor was sent by Allfather Odhinn to Midgard to gather the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla, but she got distracted and joined a series of bands. However, Floor still gathers souls by her grace, beauty and the sheer power of her vocals. We give thanks for her at our Blots regularly and hope that Odhinn won't notice that she has never returned to Asgard. ALL HAIL THE VALKYRIE GODDESS!!! The Nightwish Army is incoming! You're not ready! Nightwish Army Central Florida Black Company reporting for duty!

You should watch and react to The Tampere version - we will still watch it! It is special. It was in Finland which is where Nightwish originated from. Floor’s parents were also present that night. It is amazing.💥 20:37 - Yes, you did notice “Enter Sandman” from Metallica - in that same section there is references to other songs from Minuet to electro music - lots of special hidden gems throughout the song.
