I like Troy's backing vocals. It's great because it's not too high, it's not too low, he doesn't have some quirky vocal character that makes it stand out, it's just a clean warm tone that offers support. It doesn't always have to be like that, but sometimes this is exactly what you want in a backing vocal...

I'm glad you chose Buenos Aires for I Want My Tears Back. It's not Floor's best vocal performance of this song but it's so enjoyable to watch her cut loose and just have fun. This is by far my favorite performance of this song.

Glad you enjoyed that. I think it's no wonder why so many people love them; the music, the arrangements, the musicianship, the lyrics, the genuine people they are, the fun they have and show... Talk about a holy trinity! Three of my favourite tracks for showing the diversity of Nightwish’s music. You made a good point of how the songs have so many different elements. That’s down to the genius songwriting of Thuomas Holopainen (the keyboard player). A very enjoyable reaction.

Great choice of three performances, Roni! From Celtic to mainstream to metal, all three perfectly executed. Although the entire Wacken 2013 concert is amazing, my personal favorite is "Song of Myself." I think you'd absolutely love that one, so I hope to see you react to that one soon. Happy New Year! 🤘🥳🤟

When I see Floor on stage, the Amorphis song Majestic Beast comes to mind, well, the title of it anyway. I wonder if anyone can pull off being so powerful yet so elegant at the same time, as well as Floor can. And off stage she's a sweetheart, with a heart the size of a small star system. She's a perfect fit for the spaceship that is Nightwish, as second in command to Commander Tuomas Holopainen. And let's not forget about the rest of the crew, making sure the FTL drive is always running smoothly. And to cite Monty Python: now to something completely different... how about a reaction to The Warning, and their song Queen of the Murder Scene, from Teatro Metropolitan last year? Not that I know if you take suggestions from the comments, but if you do, that would be awesome 😁

Another one by them I think you'd like is Evolve, at the MTV VMA's, and every song from the Teatro Metropolitan show 2022. They are very talented, and seem like very nice people. Their journey to become full fledged musicians, and a band to be reckoned with, is inspirational, and it all started with a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman 10 years ago, when they were 9, 12, and 14. Well, that's when they went viral, anyway.

new to the channel and didn't know if you knew that those first 2 songs on the list were part of a movie called imaginaerum they wrote and paid to produce, the album was basically the soundtrack for the movie. it's a 90 minute movie and can be found for free on RU-vid, it's well worth watching. Its about an elderly man with dementia losing his mind trying to remember his past

I would enjoy you doing a second reaction to the same song. First reaction as a pure first time take. Second reaction after you have had time to read and reflect upon the lyrics. Lyrics are a little to deep/obscure in a genre that's not my favorite. But musically, I like them. There's a few things I tend to like that I don't actually ever do willingly. Like eating sweets....like them...enjoy them...but I'd never buy them on my own. Nightwish is similar for me...like them but wouldn't go out of my way to listen on my own. Did you know the song ' I Want My Tears Back' was written in the summer of 2014, with the insane drought that wreaked havoc in Europe. Toumas thought it would be a good idea to write a song but regaining as much as possible, and people were crying for some water. So the song 'I want My Tears Back' was created.

They're uilleann pipes, not bagpipes. Notice that he's not blowing into anything. They're more melodic than bagpipes and don't have that constant drone that bagpipes do.

Still a member of the bagpipe family. What you and most people refer to as bagpipes are the Scottish highland pipes. These are Irish variant.

its not onley bagpipes it is airish bagpipes or uillean pipes have a more mellow tone and are quid deferent from Scottish you have a bello under one arm and a sack under the other and on top of that you ply the Floyd whit both hands and the bas drones whit the wrist on the bello side as Troy say's you haw to bee a little bit mad to choy's a instrument like this
