this man was buying stussy from the founder of supreme 2 years before supreme started and still has the garms... the term OG was created for guys like nigo.
@@ScrubDusters sound like a hoarder to me bro.. i wont keep my shitty old kids clothes from when i was 9 or 10. nigo was 22 in 1992 and im 22 now.. all the stuff ive colected over the past 7 years i will keep forever but no point in keeping clothes from years ago when i was really young. im sure nigo wont have clothes from when he was like 10
@GnarDope__ Radington there is a two part series called 'nigo larger than lifestyle' you can find on youtube, it has a tour of his house and collections.
*Because Nardwuar will literally hand a rapper a diaper to them backstage for an interview, and then be like "THIS IS YOUR FIRST EVER POOP". And then Nardwuar will literally sniff it and then be like "There's pieces of corn in here that I smell, wasn't the very first album that you ever owned actually a gift that you got on your 12th birthday by a band coincidentally also called Corn?"*
bensongcomedy I feel you, but a whole warehouse of stuff!? There are kids in the hood with no money to buy shoes, why not give away/ turn it to a profit and help humanity, instead of owning a warehouse full of material stuff.
That's what collecting assets is about...!!! Now when u don't have money your collection or not looks different. But it's about the hustle. You got 24 hours in a day like the next man. Make the best of it. Now church on that.
That's part of being a good co-host. Nearly all interviews involving on the spot translations still involve basic things like making eye contact, smiling, nodding and otherwise being respectful.
I mean what you expect him to do, stand there with a blank stare? As an interviewer, even though you don’t understand what the other party is saying, you have to at least show you’re engaged in the conversation.
That guy is one of my biggest inspiration since I'm 12 yo (26 soon) and this interview just got me even more respect for him. The simple fact that he has been keeping his old clothes as souvenirs is amazing. Thanks Complex !
normally when i see a collection like this i think to myself, “how dope would it be to have some of that stuff” but i couldn’t imagine anybody else handling a collection like this but nigo
For him to know where his things are means he himself organIzes and arranges them andddd he has a loooot or stuff Now that’s dedication. Organizing these would be really satisfying
I am Japanese and was a fan of APE. in the 90's and early 2000's APE was really very popular. Undercover and APE were the top two back then. Whenever a new release came out, there was a long line of people waiting in line.
No one here is talking about culture u dumb fuck .. u kids like microwaved shit and don’t appreciate the things that go behind these brands and the people who really put in the work .. u think spending a 850$ for a Box logo is cool because ur favorite mumble rapper wears it
I knew about this legend for a long time now, yet never heard him speak. I always assumed he spoke english seeing as how he is a legend in US too, especially NY. Got so much Respect for this guy, genuinely loves what he does and I can definitely relate about wanting to be a teenager for life
I believe they touched on bape a little for that cudi and nigo vid. I think nigo's always looking forward and sees bape as something of the past. Also doesn't really fit his aesthetic at all anymore.
Nigo is my favourite in every way , love his fashion and his artistic flair it’s shame people these days don’t recognise this fantastic human being for what he does and his new brand human made which is my favourite clothing brand ever , in fact proud to be wearing my human made blue heart solar Hu right now as I’m watching whilst nigo wears his 💙💙🔥🔥
I actually love this because I’m a woman who love clothes. Not shoes and bags but clothing and fashions because you can express yourself more with clothing, plus the mixing & matching plus the different fabrics. 🧥 👖 👗 💗
*NIGO IS A RENAISSANCE MAN, A DREAMER, & A VISIONARY---THE WORD ' MAVERICK ' WAS WRITTEN FOR GUYS LIKE HIM and HIS CONTRIBUTION TO CULTURE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOREVER*
