I don't think he can beat Wesley So. It's better for him if Caruana wins, he'll have a chance there in my opinion. But again Fabi beat the one and only MVL. But then Nihal is playing far better than last year and crushed Rapport. It's gonna be tight. Nihal-Nakamura will be fun to watch.

He seemed to be too biased towards Rapport yesterday. Even in the end he said 9 point difference is not reflective of what happened on board and he would call it a close game.

We know Nihal is a beast but Raport was playing really well too....if he actually learns to convert his chances he'll be a very strong player too so big ups to both talents
