Nika is a very passionate player. Her mentality and approach to the game is very mature. She is very tenacious and hardheaded, in a good way. Because of her focus, she channels her energy on defense which is one of her biggest strengths. She is a total team player and I personally love the true point guard mentality. I hope she gets to play in the Storm.

Why Guidelines exist? Some People seem to like to create Disputes, Drama,Take away from others Positive Feedback on something Good. Many Young People watch these Videos, including My young Daughter. Women’s Basketball is an encouraging positive thing for Fans to Share, and be Inspired by, it’s just a fan based exciting thing. If youre Offended by Someone else in This World Speaking Positive things and Compliments for something or someone They Admire, especially a Young Persons, thats just really Sad
@@mikailbumpus692 no disrespect but really did u have to bring ur daughter into this back and forth?? If that's the case if she reading comments then I'm sure shes seeing negative and positive that's just life so just stop it with all that ur daughter will be just fine unless ur teaching her to live in fantasy island because ur comment is definitely coming from fantasy island and thats sad
As a former college coach Nika is the type of player you want on your team. I'd take 10 like her. 100% all the time. I'd like to see her play a bit more offensively.
People making a big deal about Nika saying she thought about transferring is funny. She’s always been pretty open about her struggles. A couple, of years ago she told an interviewer the she was “uncoachable” when she came to UConn. She was self-effacing and laughing when she said it. None of this is a surprise.she was fun to watch for four years and impressive with how she’s handling all that’s been going on recently.
Nika is an absolute gem. What a class athlete . I am a pro tennis player and she would have been an incredible player. All the qualities of humility. She will do well in anything she does. Period. How well spoken is this young lady.
Incorrect title...she never really wanted to leave Uconn...she said that she would think about it for the moment after bad practice, but she also said (see at 6:04) she would never leave Uconn...you just wanted to create controversy so more people would click on this video...
Nika’s verbal intelligence is off the charts! Uh Just a minute,,,, Nika it’s coach CD on the line to talk to you about that first female coach comment.
@@TJSportsQueens And immesdiately said but I'm loyal and I wouldn't leave or words to that effect. It's like the press cherry-picking a comment without providing the full conttext which in this case was she wouldn't leave. Something like of course I thought about it, everyone thinks about it, but i wouldn't leave.
@@TJSportsQueens Thinking about it, in the heat of the moment (as she described) is not the same thing as saying that she "wanted" to transfer. She never "wanted" to transfer. RU-vid titles/headlines are getting increasingly misdescriptive.
And she’s “literally” said she was “uncoachable” when she came to UConn. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lbl3VTdfMvA.html&pp=ygUeTmlrYSBtdWhsICIgaSB3YXMgdW5jb2FjaGFibGUi (at 1:12). She’s been open about how sticking it out has led to her growth as a player and a person. So yeah, “ADMITS” and TRANSFER” in all caps is pretty misleading, like she’s admitting to a crime or been disingenuous about just about everything else she’s said about her experience at UConn.
Love to see NIka make the team on one hand, but on the other she will see very little playing time with LLoyd and Diggens there. Hard to improve when your just there for practice time where your basically doing walkthroughs. Also IMO she is not offensive minded enough.
C’mon Nika! There were times when you were a complete pahtootie. Coach got you to get outside your shell and get better! We saw that! Glad you made it, because you were a real problem for the team for a while.
