With people actually talking to each other, forming actual friendships and not being the sociophobic recluses they are today. You kids dont even know how different life Was, how different people were, genuonely interested in each other. Neighbors always befriended each other and just came over spontaneously, and not that fake anxiety filled small talk we have nowadays, in the elevator when er failed at hiding from each other. We actually loved being outside, not bored by it because we did not have burnt out synapses from the constant stimulation by media, Video games, commercials and p0rn. Back then it was easy to get a pretty and cool girlfriend, while nowadays these girls are so drunk on online fame they wont even give you the time of day. We developed into a police state in which everything is watched and forbidden, when back then life was so much more free and life wasnt just regulated to death. If you think this is cool, we pity you and hope that you can still get lucky and lead a somewhat normal life. Back then almost nobody had anxiety and depression, those are more accepted today, I give you that, but they also are civilisational disorders rather specific to the age of Information, which we entered when the Internet became widely used in 2000. Good luck, you will need it, because postmodern life is nothing homo sapiens was ever built for and the evidence is our mental health epidemic. I miss the 90ies so much, maybe its better to be you, ignorant of how much better life could be, better than this hollowed out parody of human civilisation we now live in. @bigdaddyking43 ideally it will be like airport. First gen is crazy high. But once you reach the 3rd or 4th generation most people will be able to afford them. Idk if you're into reading but the book Waycross is a solid read and it basically explains all this stuff but it's obviously a fiction book but when you read it you can just tell we are heading there as a society. Plus I would assume once it gets released they'll have age restrictions on items you can see and or buy within the ai world .

Explain this. I once went to take a photo of a poster on my wall in my bedroom when I saw my room in the phone but a different decor. (I was moving the phone around and it was a live view) Pink walls and plants and candles. I made one screen capture and it all went back to normal.

As someone who loves fashion, especially loud and weird fashion, Im actually pretty stoked about this. I thought it was pretty dumb, as you'd need to whip your phone out to see anything they had "on", riiiight up until you mentioned AR glasses (contacts or whatever as well) as I hadnt even thought about that. Cant wait till people are casually walking around looking like they stole moms cc and bought all the cosmetics from the in-game store 😂 legitimately excited for a potential future of digital fashion, and what that could open up for designers and devs alike.
Everyone was a lot happier without mobile phones fullstop. I'd accept the oldschool brick Nokia for emergengies/work but we defo should have stopped there
