I did some trekking which required a couple water crossings. After that, I’ve found that I don’t like waterproof shoes. I’d prefer something that drains and dries fast. The mesh on these sounds intriguing.

All they needed to do was change the sole grip on the OG pair and keep it the same. Simple. Such a comfortable shoe but the sole lasted 5 mins if you’re using for even just dog walking. My pair is starting to crumble from just using them for every day work in my studio.

hey i feel like the white one would get too dirty on hikes and not worth it. I think the black ones are better because the dirtt wont be too visible. what are your thoughts on this sir

First I thought they were too snug a fit and that the half size up would be better but after wearing them for half an hour or so they sorta grow on ya once you fiddle with laces. My main issue was the tightness in the tow box and the composites rubbing on the pinky toes where the upper is stitched to the lower upper. But I think I have resolved this with some slightly thicker socks. So yeah maybe if you have wide feet and find most fits snug as it is go for the half size up. But I’m happy with them.

Love the way they look but had to return because they were too stiff in toe box and was getting heel slippage. Lacing system looks cool but isn’t really easy to make shoe secure. Also I’m someone who uses the pull tag on the back of the shoe to put it in and I actually heard it start to tear after my third try on 😩

yeah heel slippage to me was a bit of a problem. but i had no problems other than that. I dont really leave my laces too tight so i can just slip my foot in. and i had a second thought about the heel tab in the back. maybe its designed like that, so that it doesnt break off as easy compared to the other models. idk just a thought that came past my mind hehe

Found that the inner stiching around the little toe was really rubbing. Taking the insole out has helped a bit. Seems like a very weird place to put the overlap of material on the inside...

ah well i've been using them for a couple of weeks now. and the low cut of the collar and heel counter is perfect for my thicker right injured achilles. i still have mine and i kind of like how the whole thing looks and feels so im going to stay with these as my mains for now

Just got mine, it is VERY tight around under the toes, literally crusing the bone under my pinky toe... After a few wearing it is getting better budm damn it was uncomfy first time:D

Previous version was too soft for the trails (but kept it for casual outdoor walks) and this one is way too stiff so I immediately returned them. For the price, they are lacking some kind of cushioning tech like zoom air ( a good middle ground for comfort and stability). Really wanted to love these because they do look nice 😕

@@jaykim223 I don't think they have react cushioning on the new model. There was no react branding and it definitely didn't feel like there was any.

@@ShoeGodimo if you want something for the trails i think you need a “stiff” shoe that becomes looser and molded to your feet. and wouldnt more cushioning weaken your feet when you stop wearing that squishing cushioning

@@kev6t9 I'm not saying that they need to feel plush. These just feel very stiff, bulky, and have no step in comfort. I have hiking boots that have a lower stack height, probably weigh less, and feel more comfortable than these the moment you step in them. I honestly wouldn't recommend any serious hiking in these.

Ordered them but this is definitely a downgrade from previous MF lows. It's like a mix of leftovers from OA, Lowcate and AIR MAX 2090. Great review but you definitely being biased. Haha. Also seems like you bought full black Smith Summit pants even tho back in the days you said you not gonna buy they because you already had grey/black pair. I see you.
