They are definitely not 40% less than retail on StockX at least today (6/27/24). They’re for my size 12.5 around 25% less than retail. However, today I went into SNKRS app to see if future releases were posted because last I checked that had nothing posted, and I went down the available page and saw that they actually had latest foamposites (light orewood) in size 12.5 available when they hadn’t had any sizes available (yesterday when I checked). So I immediately bought them. Now going the StockX route I save $35 but I bought them through SNKRS app because I can return them even after wearing them up to 90 days later. So that’s a plus and I usually change my mind on sneakers once I have them in hand or my financial situation changes (which it has throughout the years not to be in my favor). So, although alternative platforms can save me money I will go with SNKRS or Nike app if it’s not to far off on difference of price because StockX and GOAT app are hard to return and usually offer only a credit unless you really hammer down on them for a full refund (which doesn’t always end with a refund but a credit). I hate the flat laces. If I end up keeping them I will buy the style laces that usually come with foamposites and swap them out. I wish the sheen on the foamposites material that is a usual feature would be on these. The leather around the laces looks cheap. I will see how they feel and how the materials are once in hand. What’s your opinion on the leather and feel of foamposite color/material in the color ‘light orewood’ and matte texture? 👍🏽 or 👎🏽
