I had custom AF1 Gucci's in 2005... The best way to do quality and durability is to undo the stitching on the toe and check and then place the fabric under stiching and stitch back... as well as glue. The check would need to be wrapped in gucci and stitched back in additon to the glue. This would require an actual cobbler (shoe repair professional). Which people don't want to invest in. Just using glue will not sustain if worn periodically and not once in a blue moon.

Do the glue bleed through the fabric because I have white fabric and I’m kind of nervous if it will mess up the whole design

First apply the glue on the shoes and let it dry for like 7-10 minutes then put on the fabric, if the fabric is thick you shouldn’t have no worries 🤞🏾🤞🏾

It’s can be many things maybe the fabric too thin or you put too much glue
