I love your knowledge and history about the shoe I love sneakers but wasn’t born bavk when these originally came out so it’s definitely cool to hear stories
following the original 1988 retail price for the air jordan 3 was $99.99......one year later the air jordan 4 price tag was $109.99....I remember as a kid wishing I had the dough to spring for these Jordan's. especially the white cement 4's
Rich, this was an awesome video, man. Loved the pictures and the trip down memory lane. The Fire Red 3 in 1988 was my high school basketball shoe, so like you, it is also my favorite 3. So excited to get these in a truer form since the original. This is definitely the shoe of the year for me. Anyway, continued success and God bless you. 😎
Yeah, back in 88, me and this kid were the only two people in the whole high school that had this shoe. He tried to tell me that I should wear mine on Tuesdays and Thursdays while he wears his on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays because he didn’t want us looking like twins. I was like, nope, I’m wearing mine every day!!😂😂😂😂
@@DMVvsEverybody 🤣…he was trying to get you to only wear them two days. Unbelievable. No way, the 1988’s were a thing OG beauty, two days not enough to show off those beauties.
@@shadowoftheson5144 yeah man! I was like, sorry, it ain’t gonna happen! I’m rocking these everyday! And wore them with a fresh outfit everyday too!!!😂😂😂
Damn forgot i have this sneaker i went cleaning most my kicks this weekend and f mine up with the motorcycle clutch definitely need to pick another pair up just in time.
@@nicekix3038 not a fan of red lol and i can care less for the nike air regardless of the retro. And yes I’ve been into sneakers since i was a kid and know all about the history!
I was in 7th grade in 88 I had all 4 colorways back then. Playing in them on a 8.5 ft basket. Dunking thinking I was like Mike even tho I'm A lakers fan
$210 for those shoes nike getting greedy with the prices of the retro Jordan's and I know theres been rise in inflation but come on nike u guys got the NBA, NFL, and MLB uniform making contracts and you're the number sneaker brand in the world cause of the Jordan brand and sports jerseys they couldn't have the price lower like 190 or 180 dayum.
The 2’s were the first ones that were $100 and the lows were $80…I know because I barely got my Mom to buy the 1’s at $65 and there was no way I was getting a $100 shoe
