You are absolutely right about sizing. I bought a few pairs of this model as it was on sale and then got confused when tried them on. I have worn Nike all my life and my size have never changed between their shoe models but this was so narrow around the toe area and felt my foot kept slipping towards the toe as not enough elevation under the front foot but higher heel at the back and narrowness of the front . I feel Air max 90 was so well balanced with the platform style. I am now hoarding my Air Max 90's incase they discontinue them.

Thanks for this review it was such a great help. I did try the shoe as suggested, and I’m glad I did because I had to go 1/2 size down which to me it’s weird because with Nike shoes I’m either true to size or half size bigger due to narrow.

the toung hole is a finger pull to slip them on easily along with the rear tab.

Very good review of the sneaker. I was wondering about sizing. That's how the 720s fit on me and that's why I never bought a pair. Went in and tried them on. I like some of the colorways on these 2090s but still hasn't enticed me to buy. Again, great review!

I just bought the 2090 USA at Marshalls for $60. I got my size 8 but I had to remove the insole. I'll say go .5 up

@@thetechlibrarian exactly my thought. My first 2 pairs of 2090s were 11.5 and every one since has been 11 they fit better imo nowhere near as narrow as the 270.

Went half size up and are almost perfect fit, a little bit narrow on the toe, but i think with the use will loosen up

Hello can you guys help me regarding the sizing of Air Max 2090? I usually wear Size 11 on my Nike Free Run shoes. Should I also get Size 11 on Air Max 2090 as well?

Yes I get UK size 9 In all my nike trainers and these are no different.

Shoes with this plastic mesh upper have never appealed to me, because it's wrinkly right out of the box. I've never owned any shoe that uses this plastic mesh, but I imagine the creases get exponentially worse the more you wear it, compared to more conventional uppers. I do think the update on the air bubble is pretty cool, though.

I should have listened to you I have seen your review when I was trying to purchase the shoes about 5 months ago. I was wearing the 270s and they were not supportive on the sides my feet were just flip-flopping so I decided to get the 290s and after I start wearing them after my work boots I always felt soreness on the front side of my feet and I have realized the shoes is too narrow on the front and when you tghting the shoelaces even more it even gets worse.
