Same. I couldn’t remember if he had to wait until his dvs contract was done or if it happened at the same time. I do wish this drop was offered to SB stores exclusively but that’s just me being selfish haha. The OG was also released via sportswear accounts
I copped both pairs the orange and green. I dig the chance to get these since the original release happened when I was only just a kid. The materials are super nice, and I like that they don't have any mesh on them. Which you really don't get that too often with the Airmax 1s. It's usually some mesh or fabric on the toe box panel and collar of the shoe.
I'm just glad the release of these was way more chill than the Huf Forever Dunks. Specially because it's way more symbolic, while the Dunks were just a cheap cash grab. Was it really that hard to just retro the Huf Dunks, kinda like what they did on the last days of The Tiffany Box?
@@DavidBluetilenah the other sneaker channels are playing catch-up. Watching this under my Huf/Pleasures clock. These are on the list for me. I love soo much stuff Keith's company has done. One of my faves is the 'Huf II Men' shirts as a big "Boys II Men" fan it checked all the boxes. I still own Huf brand sneakers never skated. Again I don't skate... but engrossed in the culture. Still have 4star clothing. I missed out on some HUF DVS on the aftermarket not long ago before he died. Once he died they flew off the shelves. They were under the radar for a bit. Fun fact. I used to cop Savier outta ross in 2003. 😂
I’ve been just needing something a little better to walk in vs super flat skate shoes. I kinda wish I started diving into shoes outside of skating like… 30 years ago! Haha I think my knees would thank me for it
