I like a snug fit, but nike basketball has really made their recent shoes tight,almost feels like they run short, the jordan retros still fit true to size, most people might want to highly consider sizing up a half size for nike basketball sneakers,some materials might not break-in or stetch overtime like others that nike uses on their hoop shoes, especially if you wear multiple pairs of socks or ankle braces.

I fell in love with these ever since i saw that full orange limited edition colorway because i was always a sucker for hoop shoes that look good off-court and perform well on-court. Sure, not all they showed so far look amazing (this launch colorway is a bit bland to me) but now after seeing J' review i will for sure get a pair down the line, specially if the shattered backboard one ever drops

ja 1 or book 1 ? I’m a pg 5”10 190 pounds. I bought the book 1 “haven” and supposed to receive them in a week but I’m seeing a lot of great reviews on Ja 1 and wondering if I did a bad decision choosing the book 1 over ja 1

NGL, I thought I was going to hate these shoes but they are lowkey nice. The cushion is cool, although I'm pretty sure these will bottom out over time. The material is CRAZY nice and feels great on foot. Its snug but a a nice snug. I don't like the way it looks like my foot is protruding on the the medial and lateral side of the shoe (and I have a narrow foot) but performance wise it feels fine. I wonder if that will be a bad thing when the shoe breaks it. Traction is great. I agree though, these shoes with a cushion with more longevity would make it a tier 2 shoe.

U know the traction going to be better with a solid outsole too

Book loves the kobe 4 so it makes sense, the book one is nice

Nike been making their shoes too snug lately. I get that the athletes themselves might have narrow feet but for most other people their feet vary widely. Especially since there’s not really options for differently sized wideness for shoes in the US. Nobody wanna go 2 sizes up to get shoes that are wide enough
