Yep, especially when its one on one - In my opinion as a CB if you're playing one on one if you can at-least keep a hand on the WR when he catches a ball (or make a play on it/come close to it) it shows you're good - reality is a CB has to react to what a receiver does which means that the CB will always be delayed I respect CBs that can play one on one/man like this with good receivers and still make plays because usually you need a deadly level of reaction speed, agility and aggressiveness

Actually... this is shown because it compares your speed to others and ur press defense or man to man in other words it’s a drill that requires patience at times and aggressiveness at others, the dB needs to know when to do either

Yes, Jalen wasn't ultra impressive in this particular video, but USC should still recruit him (admitted USC fan here) because (1) he's a legit deep threat and commands both the corner and a safety on deep routes, and (2) Jalen has a crazy catch radius and at 6'4" he often wins the "jump ball" throw. He may not be the #1 WR in the nation, but he is def in the top 5.
