Hello welcome to the run testers my name is Nick and this it the review of the Nike Infinity Run 4. So the Puma Velocity Nitro 2 is great daily trainer suficiently cushioned to get you up to the half marathon…
I put this on this afternoon and was so disappointed I didn't buy them Instead I bought the Asic Gel Nimbus 25 way more comfortable. The Nike however was a way better looking shoe but my feet are NOT into aesthetics anymore !!!!!
Yeah, I agreee. Been wearing them since the INFINITY REACTS. Finally, ending it on the FK3s. The 1st ones were very snug on the forefoot. Since the 2 and 3s. just got way better in design and comfort. The ride was the same. STABLE. At this point all I can do is stock up on the FK3.
Just selling for the look thinking ur a runner when u should be running with solid brands like NB, saucony, hokas or asics. I can see yoga pants mums with money suiting up on all nikes rocking with this shoe to complete the fit getting all the attention 😂
What in the world was Nike thinking with the weight gain? The Infinity is already somewhat out-of-place with the lineup of daily runners from Nike, you'd think if they were going to change anything, they'd make the shoe lighter. Other than the small price difference, why would anyone get this over the Invincible 3?
the three is way better I tried these on today and ended up going with the ASIC GEL NIMBUS 25 its by no means a better looking shoe but was definitely way more comfortable!!. also my Nike invincible run 3s were also more comfortable not the upper but definitely the mid.
I picked up a pair of these at Dick’s as my first “running” shoe. Honestly they get a bad rap. They fit my foot profile well and for someone who is just building a base and won’t notice a little extra weight, these are great! I expect to grow out of their usefulness rather quickly, but I still plan on getting my money’s worth, probably 4-500 km. Plus I figure when I get the next pair, I’ll get an instant boost haha
I tried on this react 4 and the nimbus gel 25, I bought the Nimbus gel 25 because the Nike react 4 was lacking in the good stuff under the front of the foot and under toes almost like no padding at all. Now I did feel the good stuff from the middle of the foot back to the hill. I think they skimped on the react x foam in the front of the shoe, therefore I bought the Asic Nimbus Gel 25 it was very comfortable way better than this react 4. I really wanted the React 4 shoe it was very nice looking but my feet need cushioning not aesthetics !!! Nike please revamp this shoe with way more cushion or REACT X under the entire foot feels like you left out from the middle of my foot to the front. I did however love the feel of the Reactx foam felt really good, not as good as the zoomx but still very nice!
Think Nike have snookered themselves with foams clearly zoom x is light and amazing but they don’t seem to want to drop it down to other models. If they adopted more of the half and half approach like puma and adidas. Could have zoom x at the front and ready at the back to lighten the shoes. And drop the knit obsession , turbo 2 was the blueprint for me stick to that formula
They should just retro the epic react and be done with line. Or low top the gt jump 2 from the b ball line. Whats with nike just adding weight to everything apart from the vapor/alpha
I enjoy your reviews but the audio quality is just not up to the mark and sounds like a recording with a laptop mic. Could you plz use an external mic maybe for future videos? Thanks for the great content.
I have the infinity 3 and I view it as more a daily trainer - not super cushioned but enough where if you are doing easy to moderate pace it's fine. I did order the Infinity 4, but I haven't received them yet. I'm hoping those can be my tempo running shoe.
Have felt them in hand. I personally think it’s the best looking infinity run. I’m not a runner and into casual use. Have felt them in hand and They’re noticeably squishier than the 3s but the weight is definitely noticeable. Gonna try them on in the coming day but honestly excited for the shoe.
Since it is a heavy high cushioning shoes, I wonder if it would compare with the Adidas SolarGlide 6 ? Both have great stability for a safety long run in slow speeds.
I'm always confused why beginners would benefit from heel cushioning, doesn't that just transfer the force on landing to the knees/hips, leading to injury down the line? I've worked on landing my foot under my hip and have been injury free since but used to be plagued by niggles
The weight gain is so that new people who come to the sport think that’s the norm and when they release the fifth version with a weight reduction, people will jump on it
Loved my infinity run 3 as a commuter to gym shoe. The upper is still the best Flyknit has to offer. Why did they change it for worse is beyond me! And whats up with the weight gain! Totally unacceptable.
@@liquorinthefrontpokerinthe3881 at least now we can stock up on previous models in Nike Outlets. Infinity 3s have been heavily discounted these past months too.
