@SneakerGearz I personally love these, but I do have the mesh version so not sure if that makes a difference in fit and tightness. I can feel the React myself because I weigh a little more (around 210-215), and the Air Max is perfect in these. The fit is definitely narrow, but once broken in it’s worth it because heel lockdown is AMAZING. I played on a floor where the bottoms literally had dust caked and they bit extremely hard with literally zero wiping (coming off the Harden 2 so maybe that’s why). Outside of the fit needing a while to break in (these are extremely snug to start) these are my dream shoe; max cushion (no court feel, which I prefer and still feel fast), perfect traction, and lockdown (especially heel) is top notch.
@@jrdatrackstar I tried them on in store only and they are just super narrow. Materials can break in but if your foot is wider than the last, no amount of break-in time will matter. At least just walking around in store, which is minimal really, they just felt rock hard. After playing a shoe can change a lot but even the Lebron 15, 16, 17, 18 all push immediately underfoot and only got better. My question to you is what other shoes have you played in and enjoyed? I always do reviews on comparisons as each player has a different feel for what they consider comfortable.
@@sneakergearz thanks for your reply! For reference, I am 5’11 and 210-215 (depends on how much I lift/run consistently). Let me also preface by saying I have literally gone through 3 pairs of 17 Lows: my original 9.5, a size 10 (that I broke in), and back to my now 9.5. Though they felt better in store as far as length and width, my size 10 had way too much bubbling (to the point where I didn’t feel safe even with the outrigger). From the store try on and even my first few games in the 9.5 it was “heck no back to the store” narrow. I then tried on another 9.5 that I guess someone had returned to a different store (like your revisited LeBron 17 High video) due to the tight fit and they fit AMAZINGLY well, shockingly so. I inspected the shoe and found that the insole was worn out and this person had played in them. I quickly exchanged my 10 after that and realizing that these take a WHILE to break in. The React needs time to compress because the height is thick, along with the entire midsole foam (either React or Cushlon) that sits you high/forward on an already thick Max Air 270 bag. Wearing thin socks also helps in the process of wearing them on court because my first experience was not the best as far as fit but I also had socks on that were thicker than normal. I recently came off the Harden Vol 2 as my main shoe; I loved that shoe because, though many said sizing was off, it was perfect for me. The materials were sock-like due to the bootie, heel lockdown was nice, and there was plenty of toe room without sacrificing that lockdown feel and no “bubbling”. The cushioning was awesome on MOST of my pairs, but my recent pair had flawed Boost that just made me fed up with Boost for now (I literally felt the floor and pain upon landing on my forefoot from just a simple fast break push). Traction was also inconsistent amongst my pairs so back to Nike I went... My favorite LeBron shoe to date is the 20-5-5 due to the amazing traction, double stacked full length Zoom, and lockdown. It lacked an outrigger (which I didn’t know how much I needed at the time until rolling my ankle over and over), but I still love them to this day. I also loved BrandBlack shoes (Rare Metal and Crossover 3). The BlackFoam was thick enough in the JC3 (which had too much give on the upper) but not the Rare Metal so sadly I had to switch to Boost (Harden Vol 2).
I went a full size up and experienced no problems getting them in and it feels very confy. I was scared it I wound't get the enough support, but It felt great
yo how is the ankle support? Did you feel like you can roll your ankle easily in these? I only ask cuz the last low top Lebron shoe that I played in was the Lebron 15 low. I would tell everyone to never play in those shoes!!! I've rolled my ankle so many times in those shits and I'm not even a clumsy guy, those shoes should be illegal to play in.
Lol most of the LeBrons I’ve tried, and especially the lows feel so high up above the ground. I just tried the new 18 lows and lateral movements seem like a bad move in those too
@@RicheeKim well i hope so. those are better than marquee boost man . no one makes a review on that and it will have more views cause you will be the only one 👍
Definitely a full size up. I'm a 10.5 TTS, I tried an 11 in store. Still tight. The 11.5 did the trick. For reference I'm a 10.5 in the LeBron 17 high, 11 in Kyrie 6.
RicheeKim yeah I never had to go a whole size up before 😂 but they fit good If anybody gets the lebron 17 low go a whole size up cuz true to size for me was way to tight and I don’t have wide feet other then that its a good basketball shoe I would recommend them if you fear of have knee injury’s or impact protection if you got the bunny’s I wish they can have a better insoles but you could just swap them out
@@MOTORIONtvi fits really good the only thing it a little tiny bit lose in the heel/ ankle area when you walk it moves up a tiny bit but if you double sock like a non thick ankle sock and put a basketball sock over it feels like great
