I love my Vomero 17 , but the onlyI dislike I got with it is the upper. The upper is comfortable and snug, what helps a lot with the lockdown and stability, but it is not well ventilated. During the summer the Vomero is the hottest running shoes from Nike. Shoes like the Infinity run 4 is quite more breathable and the Structure 25 and Invincible 3 are much better options for hot days. Anyways, I'm in the winter now and the Vomero 17 is probably the best I got right now for cold days where the wind is blowing too harshly.
I purchased the Vomero 17 a couple months ago on sale and didn't expect to like it as a lot of shoe reviewers haven't given it much love and prominence. I was pleasantly surprised. It just works. Whilst a little heavier than some other trainers in the category I found it to be excellent. There is not much I can fault about it. It's a really good shoe. Because it is difficult to get Nike shoes on a big discount I actually picked up a 2nd pair for AUD$134. My first pair was AUD$168. For that price, I reckon it represents a good value proposition. The Asics Superblast might be the trend but at $320 I am more than content with my new Vomero 17s. Good comparison review!
I just started running a bit more seriously since 2 months ago and just decided to get the Vomero 17's cause I liked the way they looked and the ZoomX seemed cool...I almost got sucked into buying the Pegasus 41 cause I wanted the neon, but I think I made the right decision on going with the Vomero!
I use the vomero 17 as my training shoes for my 5ks and 10ks. It gets the job done pretty well but it’s not suitable for tempo runs or race days. It’s More suited for trainings and the shoe is long lasting and very comfortable for walking as well!
I use my Vomero 17s for my recovery runs, weighted vest walk/jogs and general long walks and my Infinity 3 and 4s for more general cushioned running. I love the Vomero 17s and will get again. They feel like wearing pillows for shoes after a hard session in other shoes like my Peg 40s.
@@shyamsundarbharti6707 I won't do a video but I can tell you the Vomero is a daily trainer that's soft, durable and stable. The Endorphin Pro is built for racing and fast workouts. The Pro is light, has bouncy responsive foam and is rockered to help you run super fast. Vomero is just a comfy cruiser.
why is nike putting so much foam in the heels? my last pegs were the 39, they felt like having much less foam under the forefoot than 37-38. also invincible 3, feels like less foam in the forefoot than invincible 2. IMO a shoe should have around 6mm drop at max, why would you need more drop, if when running you don't really rely on the heel.
