Ishods are probably my favorite skate shoe because of the comfort and how breathable they are. I like the premium baroque brown pair because of the leather and how clean they look
The Ishods are one of my fave shoes because of the ventilation and style. So glad the Ishod 2s kept the ventilation on the side. Sweaty feet are not fun for skating. Great review! I think these are pretty ugly, but I might have to try them anyway.
The toe cap is straight from an SB Dunk with the shape and turn & stitch. The foxing feels somewhat related to a Blazer, but not quite. Heavy ‘90s vibes on these. Loved the way the first shoe looked, but it was too narrow for me.
Initially I felt like this shoe reminded me too much of some random Osiris shoe from the early 2k’s but the more I see it the more I’m starting to kinds like it. I just don’t really fw the drop colorways. I need to see it in a solid color but I might have to try them if they have that much cushion without sacrificing board feel.
Skated them 3 months and idk if it’s the Mob grip tape but I ate the the sole in 3 months 🥲major hole in bottom of my shoe but the insole holding up nice so they skateable still
Everyone is different. For my foot, dunks are wider than: the new balance jamie foys and tiagos (I didnt skate them because they were too tight on my foot) the nike Shane o'Neills, (I cant skate them because they're too skinny) the Adidas busenitz (still a solid shoe) the nyjah 1, 2, & 3s (I cant skate them because theyre too skinny). Any emerica I've skated(there was only 1 model I could skate but I cant remember the model name). The nike force 58s (actually a solid shoe for how cheap they are, and are barely skinnier than a dunk.) In fact, the only shoe I have found wider than the sb dunk, would be the etnies joslins and maranas(sp?). What shoes do you skate that are wider than the sb dunk? I will gladly try a pair if you have any recommendations. For me, busenitz are tight but not too tight to wear I hate them, they also have the best board feel I've ever had, but didnt have the best durability from heelflip tricks. And the joslins are almost perfect, I just wish they had a little more board feel, but the fit is perfect on my foot, and lasts longer than any other skate shoe I've skated. Oh, the ishod wair 1s felt good for 1 day, and then after walking in them, they're too tight on the top of my foot, and constantly hurt the top of my foot, and I regretted buying them. I threw them out after 2 days. I couldnt even walk in them. Same thing happened to my friend with his ishod 1s.

It looks like a mainstream basketball shoe which is the point. I love basketball, hate Nike, but personally like shoes that look like skate shoes not basketball. I've also seen people show how flexible/thin these are by wadding them up into a ball in their hand. It's just suede and rubber. There is no magical formula here that will make a very thin shoe last a long time. No problem if you're loaded and can buy new shoes every month, of if you're Ishod and get as many as you need for free...
