I was looking for vids on this shoe when I copped today and WOW!! This is the coolest interview I have seen in a while! I have purchased SB's since 2005 and seen the $20 mark downs in the outlets and have never seen a good interview explaining any of the concepts behind each shoe! Man I just wanted to say thank you for this vid.

I love interviews like this where you get inside info on a little bit of the history of the skater/artist/designer/etc and their inspiration. Design process all that good stuff! Thank you so much for this interview. I always love the stories behind shoes and these shoes are just so so beautiful. To say Brian hustled is an understatement. This is very inspirational to all of us. I'm kind of struggling with design and staying afloat. And seeing this gives me hope. Life is just exhausting at times. I love how chill everyone is. Crushed DID bless me with a win with these shoes and I swear I almost cried. Even being in DC, didn't think I'd get a chance to win. The DMV has long deserved its own shoe and it's so wonderfully crafted that every time I look at it, I see something different. And I love how each shoe is different. That's amazing. Finally had a chance to sit down and watch the whole talk. Great stuff! Wish we could get more in depth talks like this in general with collaborators, really put a spotlight on all the details and story that went into the shoe. I waited in line on 27th of October at crushed for 3 and a half hours to get my pair. To see a large amount of people waiting for local skate shop shoe collab with nike sb is phenomenal. Meeting new and watching people playing games of skate in line was cool. Brian is amazing, he really has built a great community. I'm truly grateful to live in the DMV area. This shoe means a lot to me even more now after getting some more incite on backstory

I was debating on getting these but after hearing the story, I'm sold. There's a lot of sentimental value behind this. The skate park, the sunset, the recycling, their childrens names in the inserts...etc. the build together under the tongue tag. There's so many details that make it special.

The people at crushed are awesome freaking people! I’m from about an hour away from dc and every time I go to crush which isn’t often they treat me like I’m a local! Awesome people awesome skate shop and awesome city!

I dont know if its possible but if are able to do you think you can do more interviews with shop owners when new skateshop collabs are about to release. Its always interesting to get the backstory of the shop and the thought process behind the design process for their release, plus if you ask me the best releases from SB are the ones with skateshops and skate brands
