Great review. I really want this shoe. The colourway alone has me, but the message even more so. Having lost a few friends to suicide, us guys need to talk more. Anyone out there who's struggling, it's okay to seek for help. Never underestimate the devastation taking your life will cause the people around you, no matter how much your depression tells you otherwise.
Yerp that’s always the thing we forget to do! It’s great working n making money but always take time off when needed. Never feel bad for taking time to check on yurself n make sure that you in a good mindset n head space
Thank you for the PSA about mental health and depression. Like you said, it’s really important for people to open up if they’re suicidal, especially men who are, like you said, told to put on a strong face.
The shoe looks great got mine yesterday from the homies at the skate shop, but the message is much greater. I used to struggle with mental health and skating helped me a lot so it's really cool to see. Also John Rattray is a Pro Skater and he rides(or at least used to) for Zero skateboards.
Niceeeee thank you all for sharing that info about John but more importantly thank you for sharing about what helps you deal with your mental health.. for me it was is drawing and running… it’s great to see a shoe stand for much more than just hype
These r really nice in hand. Love the message about mental health (if u scan the QRcode on the box it’s goes in depth on Why So Sads storytelling platform that they use to help spread awareness). I have agoraphobia and struggle everyday in normal situations with people so depression comes pretty easy, plus blues my favorite colour made these a must

I watched to the end and its a good message. I think I will pick up a pair. Mental health is a real thing in all walks of life and we all need to be better to recognize when people need help.
These are crazy. Got my pair in hand today and can confirm the quality on these is really good. Once I got em outta the box I knew I had to double up on these for sure. Side note John Rattray was a pro skater for years for Zero back in the day.
It’s amazing knowing skaters have so much history and willing to share when k made the vdo I was worried no one was going to educate me on the shoes/designer so thank you As for the shoes I think they top 10 of the yr and ppl are sleeping on them! F the hype! These are crazy in hand and such a nice/easy colour to rock! Happy you got a pair fam!
John Rattray was a well know skateboarder who rode for ZERO skateboards. The shoe is the bomb! I can totally intentify with the concept behind this bombastic colourway. For me skateboarding and cycling are my favourite sports and it gives me so much for my mental health. I also really like the blue colourway with the red accents and the icy sole. The seagulls with bike and skateboard are the cherry on the cake. Luckily i got them today at the snkrs raffle and cant wait to get them in hand. For me one of the best sb dunk colourways this year. WOW! I also really like the crushed sb dunks but they are too expensive for me. Retail here in Austria/Germany is 130 Euros. Thats too much. Resell is about 150-170 Euros. Maybe i can get them. If not its ok for me. (;
I respect that not every shoe is needed but those Why So Sad? Dunk low really grew on me and after reading on them I was excited to get them in hand! The shoes are really amazing and I have to give John Rattray his due respect and credit
Great review. I can relate. Wasn’t too much into until I seen on feet and found out what the collab supports. Definitely copped them… The seagull on the inside of sole is actually doing a trick what is called a sad plant in skateboarding, just a lil fun fact 👍🏽😁… keep dropping great fresh content brother n once again great review 👟🫶🏽
Wow those are great nice not the color but the story! The on feet is oki but I feel like they paid more attention to the story then color and that’s not bad. Great vdo
Great Review, i am going to get these for myself at christmas as a milestone of how far ive come. Last december was the worst month mentally of m life, and getting in to shoes is partially the reason i broke out of my cage and started being me

No problem so happy you enjoyed the vdo, I got mines from bother pair of dunks but if yu check out amazon you can get them there just make sure it’s the “54″ oval sb laces” and you should be good! Your son is going to love them!
This one of those sneakers that u gotta see in hand. They look fire enough on cam but once u get them and put them on that color really pops and the material on the light blue is 🔥🔥 idk what I like more these or crushed dc, I can’t decide but happy I got both!
The crushed dc grew on me after I got them but the why so sad was different, I regret not adding dem as a top 10 pickup last yr I was wearing them a lot
@@duckfuey1 no sir that's incorrect...sbs go purple box is reserved for general release...rainbow box is for quick strike models...orange box or cardboard box is for orange label releases usually reserved for skate shop only drops... 🙏🏽
Based on my collection, the Nike SB purple box were more accessible for general release imo - LEVEL 1 Purple Box( SB DUNK LOW PRO): which I have the St Patrick’s Day dunk, Dunk low classic green. LEVEL 2 Rainbow Box (SB DUNK LOW PRO QS): sb dunk low crushed D.C, sb dunk low Neckface LEVEL 3 Purple Box ( SB DUNK LOW PRO PRM) : which is the Sb mummy dunk low LEVEL 4 Rainbow Box (SB DUNK LOW PRM QS): which is The Parra Abstract Art SB dunk low Note: any dunk with PRM has more luxurious materials The Why so sad is SB DUNK LOW PRO, Purple box Level 1 so I think it should be more obtainable
box color for SB determines stock number and allocation and material quality Inlines come in the purple box and those have the most stock and are "General Release" of SB and materials is subpar QS come in rainbow and those are middle/normal stock (with some exceptions like Travis and Polaroid being the most produced QS release SBs) and quality can vary ISO is Orange Label and those are only given to Orange Label shops are are far and away the most limited SBs but have the highest quality As for exclusivity, ISO is only for OL shops and skateshop collabs are exclusive to OL skateshops as of recent
@@geronimo1595 mhm these had lots a stock... well relative to SB For the US skateshop stock, Inlines have roughly 50k stock, QS has avg 30k and OL has 10-20k (again there are exceptions for that stock rule like Travis, Polaroid, and Crushed those 3 have the highest stock for a QS release)
Copy copy now I know because I’m here like wth going on because I know my Polaroid has a rainbow and the paisleys dunk was purple.. so I thought the purple box was like yr 2022 n the rainbow was 2021 lol didn’t know both came out same here because I always heard of pink box era, gold box, etc thinking the colour boxes was base on the year
@@SquiinTv nah its just like what they started in teal where the split (teal/black) box was the QS box and the full teal box was Inline/GR. Prior to Teal all releases were put into that era's "Quickstrike Box" both QS and Inline regardless though the constant is that average stock is still consistent so for the US anything in purple had 50k stock, anything in rainbow has 30k stock depending on what release it is, anything in OL has 15k stock there are exceptions but theres very few like Travis, Polaroid, Crushed had absurd stock at shops
The only SB releases that are "Skateshop Exclusives" nowadays are either Orange Labels/ISO releases and Skateshop collabs and some misc ones. At one point when the Gnars released it was believed skatebrands would be skateshop exclusive but since FRO and SLAG released online that was thrown out But aside from that there are also other types releases like "Orange Label Allocated QS releases" and "Inline-allocated QS releases" which are releases that are only allocated to shops depending on which release it can fall under. Since there are 3 types of skateshops that get SB, the Orange Label skateshops, the regular SB account skateshops and then there are the Inline only skateshops where they only receive Inline releases
Great Review! My son is in love with this shoe and I had to see what all the hype was about! Love the message behind them. These are hard to find at a reasonable price. Best place to purchase? Also, I love the plastic shoe holders behind you, my son would love those to display his shoes in his room. Where did you get those?
I appreciate that! The shoes are worth it trust me n if you are in NY I’ll say check out hypeclub, lace up or district one. If not buy dem of the goat app… as for the boxes I got dem off Amazon.. it’s but expensive however I have a vdo showing other storage for cheaper

Hey bro the Rainbow box is only for Quickstrikes.. this particular pair is a General release . Also , the orange laces look 🔥. Gonna do the same to mine now
Good review man. I like the crushed sb cameo too lol. So the why so sad’s tongue isn’t as puffy as the crushed? I have the crushed and went up .5 size from my AJ1 size for a good fit. Don’t go up on these Why So Sad’s??
No I didn’t realize I need to sign up in SBs y til I got the purple lobs lol my other SBs tongue isn’t so big but my Supreme SBs tongue puffy af so those I needed a 10

I recently picked up a pair of sb huf dunks low and they are right up on the toe box. Do I need to get a different pair? Where them and break them in? Thanks

The dodgers are more premium in my option but the story behind these wins for me. As for resale I don’t see it going up bcus it looks like a GR colourway
