Awesome in-depth review from both pants! Now the pricing is quite of a turn off, but you pay quality for sure ! Btw as a fellow creator I really appreciate your hustle, keep the videos coming brother ! 💪
thank you for the comment! yes, price is a big turn off lol, realistically you don't need $100 pants... but if it helps you feel more confident and do better, then you can see it as an investment in yourself lol keep hustlin yourself i'll be on the lookout for u
Great review. I live the lifestyle of dress Sweats and workout Sweats. Just subbed. Found you through the comment section on LifeWithVinceLuu. Keep being awesome.
Def pricey but they’re one of my favorite essentials brand, probably cause a lot of NBA players rock it. If you’re really interested in trying their main line out, now is a good opportunity to cop. They currently have 25% sitewide, which is rare
Got those same Nike Tech Fleece joggers. Love them! Also love the editing and need to step up my own (especially the time stamps + at the end recommendation to watch your other videos). Keep up the grind my friend!
Sometimes I wonder if the time stamps are worthwhile. I want my viewers to find the info they’re looking for, but it may also hurt my watch time lol. Either way I’m doing this for the interest of the viewer ! Anyway thanks for your continued support and keep beastin it with your vids also 💪
The JE pants in general has minimal stretch/flexibility in them, but the material is definitely thicker and more durable . Not sure if that answered your question , but hope that helps
Love the tech fleece just don’t love the peeling on them after a few washes I’m also 5’8 & 165 rn what size do you think I should get in the Escobars? I wear M in the tech fleece
aaron garcia I have medium in both Nike and JE. JE fit slimmer, borderline skinny fit. If you like it very slim/skinny go M. If you want a little more leg room, go large . Good luck and thanks for watching 👍
Lol yeah, they definitely run on the slim side, especially if you got bigger legs🦵if you want a roomier/baggier fit, consider the Nike sportswear (NSW) line
@@kickitwithdang Hell yeah! Well Fasa Modern in Cal State Northridge. I did another team called V.Ent (also in 818 area). And I did some time on TruFam in Las Vegas. Yourself?
Nice! I was in a small team called Kinology, but have also trained under ppl in choreo cookies and sgbm haha. I’ll be keepin an eye out for when you post your covid-choreo chronicles vids 😂
I agree about the drop crotch to an extent. I don't like how it takes sweatpants, which should be timeless, and pulls them into the very obviously trendy category. On the other hand, I am not a fan of the "grey sweatpants" phenomenon and I like that drop crotch helps to mitigate that issue.
@@kickitwithdang Oh by "grey sweatpants phenomenon" I mean people being able to tell your religion by looking at your sweatpants lol. Grey is definitely the best color for sweatpants dont get me wrong
Can you let me know since you had the John elliott Escobar sweats have they stretched a ton? Everyone keeps telling me to size down? Thanks for the help
You've got a really nice, to-the-point but also appealing to watch format in this video. Good stuff man, keep it up because I see your channel going places👌
I'm similar dimensions; 5' 8" and 155 lbs, 30-31 waist. what's your waist size? i think medium should work for you, unless you're very thin and want a very skinny fit, then possibly small...and which hoodie are you talking about?
kickitwithdang I got the medium tech fleece joggers in black, they’re a bit big but idm because I’m still growing, the hoodie I was talking about is the tech fleece one and I’m gonna get in black aswell. Should I get a medium in that too?
Hey I know you went with the medium size John elliott do you think 💭 they are tight or have they stretch some I’m trying to figure out if I should go with a medium or large size I’m 5 11” and 155 pounds thanks
i'd size up to large. especially if you have muscular legs, and/or you just wnat more room. if you really like the skinny look, go medium. IMO large is better, good luck
Not a good review. You should compre sweatpants in the same price point. The Nike is 100 and the John Elliot should be compared to other 200 sweatpants
Valid critique :) You will enjoy my Nike vs Adidas soccer pants comparison much better - I compare both of which are very similar price points, colorway and style. Thanks for watching, cheers !
All your shots are from the front. Your review does not touch on the look from behind - eg how slouchy in the butt one of these pairs in reality becomes after just a little bit of wear. Would love to hear your opinion on that.
Jo Hansen hi Jo, they actually still hold up pretty good in the rear - they both are fairly slim fitting so they make your butt look big 🙃 no saggage yet after a few washes although Nikes might happen soon. Thanks for the constructive feedback and comment, will implement one my future vids ! 🙏
Great video man, I've been looking for some good joggers that go well with my sneakers! the John Elliot Escobar ones win in my opinion! -- keep up the great videos, can't wait to see what you make next 😁
I am still working on trying to make my clothing reviews even better and more helpful , so any feedback is greatly appreciated. More to come :) thanks for watching and for the comment !
I’m 5’11 155lbs and the old Nike techs are amazing and fit perfectly , but the NEW NIKE TECH is horrible . John Elliot look 🔥 🔥 🔥 With a nice pair of jordans major drippp
I bought the heather gray escobars during quarantine and 3 months into wearing the seam near the thigh started to come undone... pretty disappointing given the price
Sorry to hear bro, yeah that is disappointing. Hasn’t happened to me yet, but I’m also not wearing them too aggressively (just for lounging, not for activities, fitness or all-day wear). Do you have bigger legs? Cuz they do run fairly skinny after all lol. Your feedback is going to help a lot of people, thanks 👍
kickitwithdang thanks man. I followed the care instructions (gentle cycle, hang dry) and only wore them to run errands or work (didn’t exercise in them.). I’d say I have average legs (6’1” 180). Hopefully mine were just an anomaly. Though customer service wasn’t incredibly helpful and only gave me 15% of the value to go to a tailor.
Loved the tech fleece for first few wears. It’s sad that they just don’t hold up well. The threads start coming out they get tooo roomy as well. Hoping to get some Escobars on sale😒
Abhishek Jagwani agreed haha, love the techs fleece when brand new, but doesn’t last long at all. definitely don’t pay full retail on Escobars either , be patient and you should find them on sale eventually 👍 thx for stopping by!
Abhishek Jagwani you actually just missed out on their 25% site wide sale that went on for a whole 2-3 months lol , but they usually have good Black Friday sales if you can wait. My other go to sites for occasional JE discounts are Nordstrom, Mr Porter, and SSEnse.com
to be honest i've only washed my grey ones about 3 times total so far, and i'm not seeing any fading yet. maybe just a slight bit of pilling or a few fibers getting looser, but nothing major or noticeable at all from a distance. in terms of black, it is a pretty deep black. definitely wouldn't recommend using bleach or aggressive detergent if you normally do... hope that helped
Nice job man. Professional, clean, and concise. Keep up the grind, you're sure to do well here. Not enough sweatpant reviews on YT... would love to see comparisons between Outdoor Voices, Lulu, Reigning Champ, etc.
thatzanderguy appreciate the comment man 🙏 will definitely consider ! But I agree, sweatpant reviews are hard to come by , yet a good pair is so essential haha
