@@IIIIIlII-ik2iu I also have wide feet, I went a full size down (from my TTS US 13 to US 12) on the blue and red pair and they fit totally fine. I also went TTS (US 13) on the more recent white and black nylon sacais and they fit fine as well, but I have to say the mesh ones are a lot more comfortable than the nylons. I think you should be fine with getting a US 11 on the sacais.
Great review. After 4 years of owning these and other colours I can safely say these shoes are far more robust than they might look. They can take a real beating and still come up look great after a little cleaning.
You always do great reviews. Gotta give props that you were honest about not knowing which tongue, swoosh or sole was from which of the two combined shoe. Still a solid review!!
These sacai's are fire! i also bought mine for resell just last week and anxiously waiting for them to arrive.. as for if they're sneaker of the year.. for me they are definitely top 3 alongside the Travis Scott Jordan 1's as well as the Air Force 1 Offwhite MCA's which i am so blessed to all have
Believe it or not, I didn't get a noti for this. I just opened YT lol. Idk, the shoe didn't really appeal to me when it first was released and still doesn't. Props to whoever enjoys it though
I got the black whites and they are dope as hell. Definitely the most breathable pair of sneakers I ever owned and honestly you can't hate the look. It's just amazing. Comfort wise not so great though. I wore them for a full day out on campus and my feet were killing me by the end of the day. Also like you mentioned, that damn overlapping sole gets in the way. Then the durability because I have heard horror stories of the mesh just ripping on people. Hopefully that doesnt happen. rip I had suggestions to take a beater pair of vans or something as "driving shoes" cause the overlapping sole will get dirty and creased from constant driving. Otherwise, these are honestly the one of the most unique and coolest sneakers I own.
finally coped the pine greens, found em at an easy price, see im so much the oppisite, i think chucking them on foot looks better, let them be the pop of your outfit rather than plan the outfit around them
I love this shoe. In fact, I like all of the sacai silhouettes but this one and the darker pair in particular. However.... "Think about it like a relationship.." I don't want that from my shoes Seth lol. While your review was great (awesome content as always), it has actually turned me off from these. The shoe looks like it was executed very well but I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of materials and the delicate nature of the shoe. If I'm spending more than $400-500 on a shoe, I don't wanna have to worry about whether it's going to rip apart if I turn too quick lol. That's some ridiculous shit to worry about on a shoe that costs this much. Makes me wonder... why all the hype? 'Preciate the review though. Keep it up!
What you do have to remember though, is the shoe only retails at $160, so to Nike & Sacai that’s how much the materials are worth. You aren’t paying 800 for quality materials, but for the hype.
i hate driving with this shoe on. i have to bring a beater pair to drive or put a napkin down on the floor mat where my sacai heel meets the ground and do that so it doesn't get dirty af
I'm gonna be honest I think these look like grey new balances because of the colorway, which I think is just letting the silhouette stand out and I get what Sachi is and why they're doing it but at the end of the day it's literally just two shoes put together
Got lucky and got the blue and white sacai waffles, love them. the blue one has a vintage fall vibe to it. ...but the quality... omg Nike reached another level on the quality lol - the blue sacais got red stains allover the midsoles from the coloring. I was able to remove it but come on Nike..
I remember when these originally came out and they weren’t that hype and I saw the orange green ones for like only $40 over retail and I made fun of ppl who thought these would sell out 🤧🤧🤧
I got stuck in the rain and got these wet. The light grey parts of the shoe turned dark grey. If I let this dry, will it turn back into light grey? Please help!
There's definitely a small learning curve for these sneakers. Tying them, walking in them, even taking them on and off is different than every other kind. And don't get me started on driving with them... BUT, once you get used to them, they're amazing. I baby my pair because I want to keep them forever lol.
I love they shoe the only thing I don’t like is how hard the midsole is to keep clean like it just doesn’t clean well and after I cleaned the suede on the end it got all rough and now the suede isn’t soft anymore
Bought these on StockX and there’s no way these are durable or long lasting . I m returning them. The concept of shoe dies on these . They are very beautiful and very hyped but reality is that these won’t last 7 days on the feet of normal person
This shoe is kinda like the element reacts from last year to me. Everyone says they’re amazing but they kinda just look wack/flimsy to me. I like the blazers tho
17thsuspect I am wide-feet man , and i wear YEEZY in EU 45/US 11 which this just FIT MY FEET EXACTLY TRUE TO SIZE , then wt size shiuld i get for Sacai Nike
This is late af but I j got my pair from stockx and they have a strong glue smell and the size tag has a QR code instead of bar code. Plz lmk if it’s normal
Man I recently got a pair and idk if you guys all just have body dysmorphia or what but these do NOT fit true to size, never mind a half size down… HALF SIZE UP. Yall are trippin bro
I like them, they look cool, but definitely not worth the resale to me. I much prefer the blazers cause they’re constructed to last. I managed to pick up two pairs retail and didn’t bat an eye letting them go to some hype beast on stockx lmao kept my blazers tho
i fucks with these heavy, just wondering how that back heel bumpout gets in the way or not? Is the visibility seethrough totally when you got pattern or vibrant socks?? i'm feeling the black/white and white/grey, I ain't feeling the "Barney and Freinds" colorway ::ugh::
I have these shoes and I won them at a raffle contest on End Clothing. My heel part of the shoes doesn’t look the same and that’s because I was not aware of it when taking the shoes off. It’s not a huge difference but it will be noticed from a close distance. Does anyone know how I can straighten the heel part?
