ON POINT! Overpriced indeed... will not not even consider these at 50% off., loads of better options out there. Bad traction, bad shoe! No matter how nice they look or feel, but if they're unusable in the real world, they are trash in some sort of way... unless one just wears them for casual. I'm 100 percent with you on this, can never figure out why Nike can't do things right with their trail outsoles, I gave up on my wildhorse7's and peg trails... which brings me to another of my bad investment, the saucony edge... traction is as bad! but that''s another story... Thanks for the honesty, good video and nice inputs on the zegs!
Took them for two 5 mile trail runs and had my left great toe go numb on both runs. Not sure if I got a defective pair or what? No tightness in the forefoot and I didn’t have the shoestrings too tight. Not sure what’s wrong with them. I 100% agree with the poor traction though!
Was eyeing this against the Hoka Mafate speed 4, Been out of trail running for a bit as I have focused on road running this year, but plan to reincorporate trail to a moderate degree back into my running regiment this winter. Heard not good things about wet traction and after your reiterated of how it sucks, I'll stick with Hoka still. Got SG 4's and their good however I am a big fan of more stability for a trail shoe than speed. It's a shame Nike just let it down with the traction, these shoes are on sale on their site at a very nice price.
These would be exceptional if the traction was better in wet conditions, great show all around aside from that. I’m currently running in the Mafate Speed 4 and I’m a big fan! A few shortcomings but overall super solid!
@@swiftcolin how’s the fit with the MS4 especially toe box, also the heel tab being how it is do you have an issue with debris getting into the shoe because of it?
@@swiftcolin I love clifton 1's but that narrow toe box ain't good for me, I ran in them till I retired them but my toes and size of my feet didn't like being in such a crunch. Would you say size up half a size or do you think there would be lockdown issues going up half a size?
4:51 where u took this info from? Officially nike not disclose drop info, unfortunately.... other bloggers measure themselves, but its not trustable source
@@swiftcolin I spoke to a Nike shoe rep who told me he believed inserts (for this specific shoe) may alter the structure and intention of the shoe I went for a long walk yesterday, minus inserts - no pain.
