Nike SB has always had high tech offerings but the dunks and blazers have carried the brand. Zoom tre comes to mind back in the day. Innovative but never had a big following. I think will take same fate.
I’ve been skating in sb’s off and on since the first drop and I’ve seen everything they’ve done. They’ve had more misses than hits in my opinion and these look gross to me. They keep trying to fix something that isn’t broken. The reason people prefer blazers and dunks is because they look good and skate good. The only shoes from the past I miss is the original fc and the Koston 1 🤷🏻♂️ different strokes for different folks I guess
They have the same silhouette as the nyjah 2 and share some of the same details found on the team classic. No need to overthink these, they were probably drawn up as Nyjah concepts, never used and repurposed for entry level
One thing I feel I MUST point out is that for $85 I can get a pair of Zoom Blazer Low Pro GT's. Take into account that I'm also supporting one of the sickest skaters out there and the decision is made. These give me heavy cheap running shoe vibes and just make me want to look away.
I personally do not like them after holding them at my local skate shop. I will say this though, I like the idea of them and the price point. There is a market for them and I think they will skate nice tbh.
@@DavidBluetileI did not. I have a wider foot so they looked a little narrow for me. Did actually see someone walking around in the black and gum color way they looked good on foot.
@@DavidBluetile for me personally they worked, maybe its a little bit of nostalgia thrown in as i was definitely in my skateboarding prime when they were out too!
I like the vertebrae not as much as the ishod air maxthry are so good looking to me. Nowhere near my favourite bit it's not a bad looking shoe to me. Af1 to me is a terrible looking Nike, in bigger sizes they look like boats.
