Girl, contact dermatitis. I started dealing with it in my mid 30’s. Caused by something that is in your products most likely to be fragrance. I think you are adorable by the way. I found you about a month ago and you should know that RU-vid pushed your content heavily in my feed😊

I was going to say something similar! I accidentally sprayed my chin with fragrances than layered my makeup it was hot and I ended up with rashes around that area when I got home. It took about a month for it to go away. Actives made it worse had to cut back on my skincare due to it😢

Same with me I can't use frangerance or essential oils even denatured alch bothers me and I also started getting it on my elbows and never had that before till this year, it's the worst feeling ever and very uncomfortable .

It really is. I loved all of the smell good stuff and I even had to cut it out of my shower products. It affected my lower arms and legs.

I just had the same thing happen but on my neck!!! I'm not sure which product initially triggered it but it has taken about a month to calm down! I would up trying a product called Clinisoothe Skin Purifier and it helped me clear it up quickly!

I had THE EXACT same thing happen to me, and my dermatologist said that she thought it was toothpaste...I guess I was letting it drizzle out of my mouth without thinking about it. Well, I started being more careful and not letting any toothpaste "spittle" get on my chin/cheek area, and it cleared up. It sounds crazy, I know, but it's worth a try.

So the same thing happened to me but it was actually the fluoride in the toothpaste! I had to switch to non fluoride toothpaste and it cleared up! We determined that it happened after I had a fluoride treatment at the dentist and that’s what “set it off” (peri oral dermatitis)

Nikki I don’t know if you still are having a rash or issues with your skin on your face, but I had something like that and it was yeast. My dr just gave me a oral medication and it cleared right up. I hope this helps. Love your videos! Thanks! And I know how irritating and aggravating it is to have a rash and not know what it is so there for you can’t treat it and get rid of it. ❤

I’m really enjoying these Nikki Uncut videos.. I love seeing all the blending and buffing! It’s definitely a process but it’s like watching you work your magic, whereas in other videos it’s all cut out which I get it bc it does take up time. You can protect your makeup by taking a large square silk scarf and putting it over your head and face, then pull your turtleneck or other over your head. Clothing goes on easily and hair and makeup stay nice.

Aww, man, I hope your skin gets better soon! I had dermatitis last March, and oh my goodness. In between the irritation and the dryness, oh my goodness! I was so uncomfortable! Cutting down on my actives was so tough! What got me through it was a moisturizing cleanser, Tower 28 spray, and the First Aid Beauty moisturizer in the little tub.

Love this video and ironically have struggled with this all my life. I've been to several dermatologist and I am in the medical field as well. The most common causes of the skin flaking, red rash under the skin, and dry patch can be overgrowth of yeast. This commonly occurs during the summer due to excess sweating or changes in hormones which can be easily managed by staying cool and using pH balancing clensers! Hope this helps!

Self-diagnosis: dermatitis, possible peri-oral dermatitis (in relation to the area around your mouth). When I was working a high stress job, I had similar red, flat patches, including around the corner of my mouth, and extremely chapped lips-and this was what my derm diagnosed me with -in addition to rosacea. Had a short course of low-dose anti-biotics (doxycyline) and topical Metrogel. In addition, he strongly suggested that I ditch all of my topical skin products, including toothpaste and lip-balm-and changed to everything fragrance-free. Aquaphor helped with my chapped lips. Took a while to clear up, but the Metrogel (nightly) really helped. Beautiful dress, beautiful makeup-and beautiful you. I hope you had a wonderful date, and that your skin issue gets resolved, soon!.

I’ve had sensitive skin since I was an infant. Your rashes sound like some sort of dermatitis, probably from an ingredient in your skincare or makeup (or even in the environment). I keep my skincare as hydrating, moisturizing, mild and simple, w as few ingredients as possible (esp during that womanly time). It does wonders on the combo sensitive skin I’ve got

Love the Prequel cleanser and the skin utility ointment. I have sensitive skin, and I have had no irritation whatsoever since using the cleanser. The skin utility ointment is amazing, my 8 daughter gets dry patches on her face, it does not irritate her skin which is fantastic. She is not afraid to put it on her skin.

That happens to me when I test a new skin care product. I have dry, dehydrated sensitive with hormonal acne skin. I tolerate some fragrance but if that happens I usually spray tower28 SOS or dr jart cicapair mist, while still damp I use centella ampoule and dry a bit but should still be damp and use LRP cicaplast baume B5. The red patches or rashes plus itchiness calmed after a few minutes and the next day my skin feels okay. I avoid actives for 3 days and kept this routine until it’s better.

I had a reaction to sunscreen after using it forever. I use mineral sunscreen now. Also test products on inside of elbow to see if you get a reaction.

Nikki, I had the exact same thing happen to me over the last week. My irritation/rash/dry/itchy red patch occured in n my left cheek area and my left chin/jaw area. The cleansers/skin products I had always been using were creating FIRE sensation in that area only. I could visibly see the scaly dry area so I did a gentle light dermaplaning at home to get rid of the flakey skin the. I laid down a good amount of the Farmacy Honey Halo ultra hydrating ceramides moisturizer and I did this at night and after cleansing in the a.m. After 2 days skin was backz tonormal. It was if nothing had ever been irritated in that area. That creme is a GAME CHANGER!

It might be a form of contact dermatitis, it’s very similar to what I had last summer. You test out so many products, maybe one of them is causing it. For me it was my sunscreen. You really are truly beautiful 😊. You remind me of my daughter.

I've been dealing with eczema my whole life and thankfully have found a few things that have helped soooo much! the Cerave ointment is is great for at night since it has ceramides and HA and Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream by Avene and lastly the ULTRA REPAIR OATMEAL MASK from first aid beauty! pleaseee pick these up! i know how uncomfortable those patches must feel! alsoooo TRY and destress if you are stressed! mine flares up sooo much when i stress out

I have been loving your videos! I hope you can find out what’s causing the skin irritation. After college I experienced something similar and it took a while for me to figure out I had become allergic to chemical sunscreens. I can’t use any sunscreens using oxybenzone, octinoxate, and avobenzone. I can only use sunscreen that has titanium dioxide or zinc oxide which are mineral physical blockers. I feel for you but sharing the issues w/your skin just makes you even more relatable than before. You’re gorgeous either way. I’m currently trying to figure out an allergy & it’s been horrible. Have you looked into perioral dermatitis? I get this around my mouth and everyone has different triggers, but for me i can’t use anything with SLS (even toothpaste with it in it gives me a rash) & minty toothpaste. But cortisone makes it worse!!!!!! I use hypochlorous acid which works well, sometimes aquaphor can clear it up, but occasionally I need topical antibiotics. Idk why it works but it does 🤣 also, the aveeno calm & restore gel is super soothing too!

So sorry to hear, more than anything it’s got to be frustrating. It sounds like what I had which was dermatitis. I went to a derm dr and we could never figure out h what erupted. It started in the same spots as you and eventually tracked up to my whole face. Lack of sleep and mental stress seamed to trigger it for me. When I get a flare up, I wear no makeup (sorry) and just use ceravae and la roche posay products to soothe during the night and will add any sunscreen on top during the day. Hope you get it resolved soon.😢

Nikki, I know this is an older video but I just found you a couple of weeks ago. I went through a similar issue with my skin about 5 years ago. It was dry, red, itch, had a burning sensation at times. I was told it was dermatitis but referred to a dermatologist. Appointments to see the derm were months out and by the time my appt came up the rash had disappeared. However, I did have to go without makeup for 2 weeks and switched to Cetaphil cleanser and CereVe moisturizer for several months. To this day, I have not pinpointed the culprit. However, at the time, I was competing in bodybuilding shows and had just finished a competition. My face had been loaded with products and makeup for the show and my hormones were imbalanced because of my very strict diet. I honestly think it was a combination of hormonal changes and a reaction to products. That said, the whole experience caused me so much anxiety! I went down some rabbit holes diagnosing myself. Nikki---always enjoy these uncut videos! I love to see you work in real time--I really focus on how you apply each product. So little product for maximum results!!!!! Ok---the red rash thing. I had something similar happen to my face last December, but mine would "peel" once a week and sometimes it was itchy. Anyway, finally made it to the Dermatologist in mid April and basically she diagnosed it as "skin dandruff" (don't remember the scientific name), but nothing on my scalp. So she put me on a steroid cream and it cleared up within 2 weeks!!! From January thru April I stopped using all acids and vitamin C while my skin was going thru the mess (but my "rash" did not clear up until I used the Steroid Cream). Waited 6 weeks, after everything was clear, and started to resume some skin care products one at a time. Vitamin C was no longer my friend, but I was using 20% by Timeless. So----for now I'm using a Copper Peptide in the am, no issues. Once I finish my bottle of Copper Peptides I'm going to try a lower dose of Vit C and see if everything flairs back up. So---I've now resumed Niacinimide, Tretinoin, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acids etc, Matryxl and CoQ10.....No issues with any of these, only my Vit C. I don't know if it was old (new bottle when all this started) or something else. BTW, when my dry patches were present it was very difficult to wear foundation. So, when I needed to, I used the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skincare Priming Glow Mist. That bit of extra moisture on top of my completed make up look helped that area from looking dry. Good luck with this!! Please don't wait, find the time to see a Derm, even it if is by Zoom. Take care.

Mine definitely went through a solid 10 days of peeling before I was left with a flat red patch of skin on both sides. I’m happy to report it’s all FINALLY gone!!!!! perioral dermatitis. I get it from certain toothpastes (whitening). quit whichever toothpaste or new things you've been using. Adapaline and tret dried mine out, but took a couple month to heal the discoloration. don't use hydrocortisone.

Because of the location of the rash, my best guess, perioral dermatitis. I’m not a derm but I did experience it myself and I had to use a shampoo called Nioxon as a face mask to get rid of it.

Hi! I’m a PA (physician assistant) in family medicine!! If I had to guess, it sounds like perioral dermatitis!! Essentially like eczema around the mouth! There’s different options for treatment, oral and creams for it. Lots of hydration, minimal fragrance, and gentle cleaners!

hi, I had the same type of patches by my chin on my neck and around my eyes! It was skin care with too much vitamin C or retinol. I used elizabeth arden 8 houerr cream and stopped all retinol products

I just watched your video and I am a huge fan. Thought I would share I am a fellow oily skin girl and the patrick ta foundation broke me out horribly on the lower face. I have had several friends have the same problem 😢

Nikki, thank you for all your hard work for us. Yes go to a derm and forget about Dr Google, derms don’t like Dr Google at all. I used to work for one and she really hated when peeps come in and tell her what they have wrong with them ha ha ha. I know you said your concealer is really thick but it’s seems to be your favorite, do you have a. Recommendation of a good coverage that doesn’t settle in the lines and doesn’t move, or can you teach us how to lay down the one u use properly. Thank you Doris

Hello.i am wondering if your changing or testing foundations are the issue.Just a thought. I live where it is extremely dry in Montana so...yeah it's awesome
