You left the haus labs concealer on for so long whilst you was finessing the Mario concealer and the whole time i was thinking its going to dry and not be easy to work with now! Would have made more sense to apply it after you were done with the Mario. x

I’m a new watcher and this is it. She’s always disorganized, making random comments, all over the place. She seems knowledgeable but not great at reviewing and concentrating. Same with the big foundation review recently. Application and random comments no particular order

Just bought the haus labs I used it all over my face . 3 lines on each cheek. I know it’s not foundation obviously but I wanted something not to heavy for work. I have oily t zone and this concealer worked great for what I needed it. It was a satin finish . Will definitely keep using.

I'm always SO grateful for your makeup tests and find the info you share to be invaluable. Even though I'm inclined to want to buy all of your own favorites, you've actually saved me money (or so I tell my husband) by helping me avoid formulas that just won't be compatible with my oily - oily/combo mature skin. I've also learned some invaluable techniques from you that have really helped me to make my skin makeup look so much better, like dipping a damp sponge in powder to apply to my face, which reduces my shininess while blurring my crepey/wrinkled skin. Game changer! Thank you for all you do!

@@ea3261 actually the description has links not actual shade names, you’d have to clink the affiliate link so they can get a profit before knowing the concealer shade & checking out. As subscribers I don’t feel there should be a profit exchange just to get a concealer color when we’re already watching ads and supporting the channel verses her just simply including the shade in the video editing.

I have the Haus labs and I love it. I have found though less is more and applying with my fingers gives me the desired look I wants. Also, I think it dries fast so you gotta start working quick. I may have to try the Mario! Both look beautiful on you!

I had considered both of these concealers but ultimately got the Prism Libré one (it arrived today). I tried the Tower 28 one and didn't really care for it. These are on the list to try next if this one doesn't work. Thank you so much for the info!!!!!

Hi Nikki. Love the comparison video. I was gifted the HL in exchange for my review, kinda glad I didn’t buy it. But, I also know you’ve been using the tower 28. Between these 3 which would you recommend more. I do agree with you that it takes a bit more of working with the HL, I also received a shade that was closer to my shade more so to conceal. When I do this, I like the look of it. Conceals and brightens using both. However I would like one that does both.

Hi Nikki! Thanks for this video, really insightful. I’m not sure if you’ve rewatched the footage but that Haus Labs looks so much better on film. It might be that there is ghosting from the Mario concealer as the undertone is wrong, and darker than your actual skin but as you move your face the Mario makes you actually look like you have darkness/puffiness. Would love to see the foundation & concealer face off!

I think the makeup by Mario concealer looks like a more natural finish, you can see the skin shining through, the haus labs concealer looks more satin and your skin looks smoother. At the end of the day, the makeup by Mario side of your face was more dewy for sure.

I bought the Haus Labs on Saturday so I'm waiting for it to arrive. I almost bought the MBM yesterday but didn't so I'm glad you did this. The MBM is definitely on my radar! The biggest reason not to get it is the fact the reviews I've seen are all dry undereye and I am not. I need to be sure my undereye makeup is good for oily skin because I have terrible creasing if the makeup is too emollient. I got shade 20 in the Haus Labs which I think will be perfect.

Good Tuesday Morning Nikki. Great comparison on the concealers. I have such dry dry under eyes and still on the hunt for a concealer that really is super hydrating and doesn’t dry down looking so dry. I doubt that either one of these will work for me, even though after your long day wear test, the MBM side looked more dewy than the Haus Lab side and I zoom you in really close and really pay attention to how it applies and I for sure thought your left side went on so much easier and smoother looking. I don’t know how you do it lady, long traffic jams and a long day at work, you still look stunningly beautiful Nikki. I actually got the Haus Labs concealer brush and it's a very lovely brush. Unnecessary (my brush collection is ridiculous) but aesthetically pleasing, a great shape for my under eyes, soft, and easy to use.

I hear you there. I started with Real Techniques. Then I got some Sephora brushes. The I went to a few from MBM, It Cosmetics and Rare Beauty. Then I had to have all the BK brushes, which I'm only impressed with a few. Like an idiot, I just ordered a couple Anisa brushes and all the Sigma brushes. I just lost my husband of 10 years less than 2 weeks ago so it's grief shopping. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

By the way, if you're interested there was one drugstore foundation you missed for your testing video... Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Skin Tint + Vit C. I know the label says "skin tint" but it is definitely more of a medium coverage foundation with illumination and skin care added in. Personally, I'm pretty impressed with the product overall and have no regrets trying it out, but I hope one day to hear your assessment of it. Thanks again!

I was wondering if you were going to get the new Patrick Ta matte palette and/or the Danessa Myrick neutral palette. I'm trying to decide between the two and just can't decide. I'm trying to decide whether I should get one of these or if I should just hold out until Makeup by Mario's Etheral Palette comes back on Oct.1. I have coveted that palette since the day it came out. Hi I know you were asking Nikki but I have the Mario palette and the Patrick Ta and in my opinion the two are very different. The PT is the perfect matte brown palette of both neutral and warm colors. The PT also has 2 creams that are perfect to use as liner. The Mario palette is gorgeous with 5 sparkle shades and while I’m happy to have it the looks I get from using the palette are limited. 3 of the glitter shades once on the eye look very similar and you can get a brown crease or mauve crease. I’ve actually used the PT with the Mario and it was gorgeous. My personal preference is the PT matte vs the Mario mattes, I find them super easy to apply and blend. The PT is the perfect palette to compliment any other palette you have. I don’t know if that was helpful but just some of my thoughts on each palette

@edwina9473 WOW, you must have some insider info on the restocking of the MBM Etheral Eyes palette! I wrote them in August and got a response from Angela, August 25, 2023, "The Ethereal Eyes Palette was limited edition and we do not have plans to restock at this time, but I am happy to pass this along to Mario!" I responded to her, asking him to please reconsider, as people are scalping these palettes for outrageous $. The company would benefit from re-release because of the demand and the $ would go back to the company and would maintain customer value and attention. I haven't heard back, yet. So, if it's due for a re-release by October 1st, that's CRAZY! I won't sleep on it this time! 🤣🤣

I love Patrick Ta's eyeshadows, I have the other two palettes and loved them and I'm really trying to kind of keep my spending down, by not buying too much stuff, when I don't even leave the house right now. But I love this time of year and watching Nikki, Johnny Ross, Robert and James has made my love for makeup really bloom again. This was really great information! Well, dang, I guess I'm running and getting Mr. Patrick Ta's palette. Thanks, krista!!

What do you think of the Givenchy Prism concealer?

I was very impressed by the makeup by Mario concealer. I absolutely love it. As a 39 year old women I put it on use a bk beauty brush to tap it in and it sets gorgeous and fast. Then I wear it all day and I have no creasing and it doesn’t move. We all know we have to work with the makeup by Mario concealer fast obviously since it self sets. The other day all I wore was the concealer and I didn’t even need foundation. I really love this concealer. I hope he doesn’t change it. He’s getting a lot of hate on it but I think people don’t know how to use it. I really thought she was gonna like haus labs one better. I eat my words lol

Nikki, you look so beautiful after a long full workday without doing any touch ups! I would love to see what a day in your work life looks like. I know you work with a lot of celebrity clients. If there is someone willing to let you vlog while you do your setup, application of makeup and how you break everything down into your professional kit and get back home would be so FUN to watch! It would also be so neat to see how you do other people’s makeup! Maybe next time could you use the Makeup Mario concealer blend it all out and then do the same thing with the Haus Labs concealer? I really want to get one of them. I’m wondering if you had trouble blending the Haus Labs concealer since it had a lot of time to sit on your face. I hope that make sense and not in a rude way at all! 💜💜 you’re the professional not me lol

A zoom in and look in natural light , like you did on haus labs foundation review, would have been helpful. To me you just look smooth and beautiful. I can't see any creases or mascara marks etc like you can irl.

I think the make up by Mario looks amazing, and from a distance you don't see any creasing on the video. Even though it's self setting, will you be trialing it using a powder to lock it in?

Hi Nikki I love your uncut series. I hope that soon one gets Haus Labs also here in Germany in the store. I would love to try this foundation, but I can't get along with this shade finder from the website at all. And the free return is only for US customers. has anyone had any luck with this shade finder? Is it something that can be relied on?
