I bet if she did her own rendition of this people would be saying "I liked Ella's version better". Seriously people, she killed this. No she's not Ella, in fact, she's a lot younger. The fact that she's even IN to this genre is amazing in itself. I really hope the people shooting her down are also quick to comment nice things on other videos as well. Anyway, I really liked this, well done Nikki.

The notes and words may have been right, but I wasn't 'feeling it'. She's been onstage for more than a few years at this point. Her mentors have done her a disservice by not teaching her stage presence and etiquette. I have seen recent videos, also. She still doesn't have the etiquette learned. Yes, unless you are singing without accompaniment, it's good etiquette to say "WE'RE going to do a song for you". When a musician does a solo, either be near them (as in standing at the end of a piano), calling attention to them or move into the shadows and out of their limelight. Thank you.
