Best Mud Day Ever 1107
Jenny starts off this best day ever by finding me in the kids in the backyard hard at work. What we are working on isn’t really clear lol. We spent the morning cleaning the house and I went outside to find the kids “cleaning” the rocks on the splash pad! So I decided to help and Jenny wasn’t exactly happy about it. One more thing we need to do today is move our pet guinea pigs out of the basement. I’ve been working down there a lot, and it's kinda weird to have them in the background when i’m on calls, plus the kids can’t play with them while I work so this is a win for everyone. But we can’t move the cage with them inside, so we take them outside and have them run around with the kiddos in the skate park. Never thought I’d see a guinea pig shred.
After the pets are moved and all the cleaning is done, Adley has the idea that we should fly a kite! We find a kite and put it together and we try a few times to get it to fly. It glides for a bit, but we don’t actually get it to stay up in the air. What places have lots of wind? Lakes!! We load up the purple Tesla and head out.
On the way, I have a special surprise that I need to drop off at Holladay’s house. A few days ago, Jenny and I were driving and we saw at spacestation colored Grom motorcycle. I saw it and knew that holladay would love it. So we bought it and today I'm surprising him with it. Can’t wait to see his reaction! After the surprise, we head to the lake, only to find there is no wind. So the kiddo’s and I started playing in the mud till we decided to just go swimming in our clothes (we didn’t bring swimming suits). It felt so good swimming for the first time this summer!!
We then end then night with warm food, playing pretend in the ultimate toy room, and one last surprise before the end! What a great day!!
