Same here. Glad I grabbed a copy from one of the recent reprints. What are the beaters you decided to go with in your niko deck?

Depending on how you define “beaters” but Sun Titan and Angel of Serenity do work and are pretty cheap

@@hiddenleaf414 so there's a unique thing specifically with creatures with vigi that I really like because they allow your shards to remain untapped... Which frees you up to untap Niko on your opponents turns, for even more shard shenanigans. One of my favorites has been twinning twins because you get the 2 in 1 of having another blink spell on a flying creature with vigi... Not as strong as angel of invention but the utility is definitely a plus. Tbh I'm assuming when you say "beaters" you kind of mean, creatures that can close the game out similarly to angel of invention. In that category, my personal favorites would be nesting dovehawk and skyhunter strike force. You can easily close out the game with 6-8 shards with those being exiled. Hope this helps 🤙🏼

@@hiddenleaf414Beguiler of Wills. It’s super salty but fun to get down and abuse. Steel Plume Marshall, Cityscape Leveler, Ancient Gold Dragon, Spawning Kraken. Anything with annihilator. Auton Soldier is a fun include.

Recent precons have a value of about 150$, so it's not like they can't put up a fight. Everyone got to pop off. Except Aminatou.

4 soulherder triggers would be put on the stack, but after the first resolves, the rest would fizzle as Niko would be considered a new object, different from the one the other 3 triggers are pointing at.
